Ok, it's a cliché, but another game of two halves. Utterly dominant going forward in the first half, deserved more than three goals so we didn't need to pay too much attention to the inevitable defensive lapse. Bright and Ilias stars of the show but Willock not far behind and Dykes impressive. Probably Bright's best game of the season. Although he hasn't played badly he's not been at his full back terrifying best this season, possibly because of a niggling injury.

And then... I'll await Clive's analysis to tell me exactly what went wrong, but we stopped passing the ball, or were stopped from passing it, Willock in particular ran out of steam, Rotherham started hitting long balls guaranteed to disturb our delicate defence and the substitutions didn't work. We should have had Adomah replacing Willock.

But having said that there are signs that the defence is stronger than last season, when we'd have shipped 3 or 4 in similar circumstances.

In the end we still deserved the three points, but it would be nice to see Rangers put together two good 45 minute spells in the same match. Perhaps they're saving it for our west London neighbours on Friday.
