I think this is HR dropping Kranjcar and Hoillet for Jenas and O'Neil.
On performances one would have to say he's right, Johnson has got an injury, minor, but enough.
Blackpool are a big strong and aggressive side, Hoillet and Niko are lightweights and on a cold, wet, windy day beside the sea, I suspect HR is just being safe....this is a tough game, we are not on form away from LR....Hoillet and Niko volunteering the ball up to Blackpool is not what we want with a chance of going top on offer.

I don't mind the line-up really. Austin and Carroll and Phillips shuld all be capable of scoring and I just don't think last week's starting 11 would be a good idea today. This may be HR's attempt to recreate the Middlesborough performance, we'll soon see.
