Ashes: Test 1 on 11:04 - Jul 13 by ChaffRAFC | Great first over of the day this, first one was like Harmison in Brisbane and then two balls later a full toss gets what it deserved. Try and get to 300 plus by dinner time, then have a day and a half to bowl them out? Or would anyone have us bat longer? 320 perhaps? |
Your far too generous for me, Chaff. I'd still bat briefly after tea even if our lead gets up to 450 by then. Stark's start could be down to fatigue, 4 hours of bowling in this sun will add to that and the rest of their team's physical and mental stamina. 4 sessions should be enough to bowl them out, if not then a 320ish declaration would have led to defeat and scratching of heads. Grind the so and so's down.

Ashes: Test 1 on 12:29 - Jul 13 with 1366 views | judd | Former Australia fast bowler Glenn McGrath, BBC Test Match Special "Australia won't be too disappointed with that - it's better to have 20 minutes or half an hour before lunch rather than a testing five or 10 minutes. The openers can get used to the pace of the ball, work it around and then go off for a nice lunch if all goes well."

Ashes: Test 1 on 20:28 - Jul 13 with 1221 views | Daley_Lama | Agar will bat 8 all series now. Siddle is also a decent striker but I cant see the last two being able to do much other than block. Reminds me so much of the Edgbaston test 2005, it's gonna be close.
