I don't think it will this year.

Wigan look dangerous, Kone looks decent, Southampton are capable of scraping together two or three wins from their remaining games. Villa are improving, I dont think Reading will get any better though.

Seriously though we are improving too....Saints have taken 1 pt from the last 9-
wigan beat villa 3-0 on dec 29th, since then they've one 1 premier league game in 8, and that was against reading, losing 4 and drawing 3.
Since that game villa have played 9 winning 2 losing 4 and drawing 3 ...3 of those losses coming at home.
Reading have also played 9 this year and have lost 5 of the last 7.
It's all about us ....we have a chance, they have all had winning spells but we're still in there

I'd be stunned if we got to 37 pts, but if we do it will probably be enough.

I think 35 could be enough if no picks up on there current form and we win the key 6 pointers.

we'll be unlucky to go down on 37 points but it's impossible to tell. Wigan look capable of going on a run but the games are going to catch up with them soon, they'll be three games behind if they win the semi final, which they should so a fixture backlog at the end of the season

the standard has always been 38....rarely has anyone gone done on more...
our form has improved and others now face the "big" games we already have had....
for us, it's was always winning the games v those around us to have hope and that;s what we have done...so far.

i dunno if my body can take sweating/worrying it out again like v man city last season...so much on one game, for so many teams!
