It's not that difficult to be solid when you are playing ten men behind the ball. The only player who looks capable of controlling the ball on our team is Taarabt, and we have offered almost nothing in an attacking sense.

I know we had to grind it out in the second half, but compare the teams and then look at the actual number of shots the opposition had - if the TV stats are to be believed they laid seige to us but only got three or four shots on goal in the second half. |  | | |

Much better second half in terms of at least trying to pose an attacking threat. I can understand going to play the scum away and "parking the bus". West Ham were beatable IMO, and I never expect us to go into home games set up to play for a draw.
Can we adjust our style to take the game to Norwich and Swansea? We need to look for wins from all our home games and any away game outside of the top four. If we can, then I won't complain if we lose attempting to win. Playing like we have in the last three league games means winning becomes less likely than drawing or losing and IMO that mindset wont keep us up.

Yeah I take your point and to be honest 2nd half we were terrible 2nd half at West Hame but nonetheless most thought we'd lose that from the outset and we didn't. Ironically a goal so early maybe didn't help as we set up there on to cling on, and barely deserved to.
However Man City are Champions and while I agree about needing wins as I said this is a your creme brulee type result, whereas Norwich is the bread and butter where we're mainly failed so far but need to start winning.
If we do win this weekend I think it'll install alot more confidence going forward... big if I know | | | |

When the game began and we had setup defensively I was disgusted. Why were Hill and Nelson so deep, they should be up on the half way line at all times. Why were Traore and Onuoha not getting up the line and into the box like Zabalta??!!!
I can't believe Harry would ever use the tactics I saw today. We were at home and therefore have every right to beat the champions of England. IDAF if they have a first team worth more than our club. We are QPR and deserve to beat anyone and everyone.
