Just wondered people's thoughts on the imminent return of Cisse.... Nobody is doubting his ability and he is the type of striker we have been crying out for at QPR for years but how do we go about bringing him back?
Our performances and matches recenty have come from 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 formations with Zamora up top and support from midfield, Taarabt has played very well with room to drift while a 3 of Barton, Samba and Derry/Buzz have held the shape in the middle. A return for Djibril would potentially require some shoe horning and a return to the 442 Hughes generally favours. This means dropping one of Derry/Buzz and putting Barton in the middle or Mackie as before, neither of which I think deserves to be dropped.
I think from what we have seen from him before Sland red and the great moments of link up between him Zamora and sometimes Tarbs too we should get him back in the team just think it won't be as simple as slotting him straight back in. Suppose this is one of those 'nice problems' managers have..... |  |

I would like to think that we would continue to start just as we started last night.
Dropping Buzz after a good performance and stunning strike would be like a poke in the eye with a rusty stick and the current system without Cisse is working well.

I think Cisse' should start against Spurs,if hes fit.Zamora is doing fantastic for us,and cant remember last time we have had 2 such quality strikers to choose from.But Cisse'e speed,willingness to run channels,skill and shooting would cause Ledley King,or that old Kiwi or whoever that have as a CB partnership more problems than Zamora imo.Also,Zamora looked a little tired last night.Would be nervous about playing with 2 up front against them with their midfield |  | | |

Sorry Northern I totally disagree with that. At the moment the system is more important we HAVE to stick with 5 in midfield and 1 up front. We were horrible when we went 442, disjointed and overrun.
Cisse is fantastic but keeping it tight in midfield is more far important in these crucial games.
The only spot for Cisse at the moment is as a sub for Zamora or replacement for Mackie on the right wing. |  |

Its a fair point Clive around his quality - but as I said earlier with the strength of the Spurs midfield I'd be very surprised if Hughes plays 4 4 2 and if Mackie is fit his discipline and work rate will be important to double up on either Bale or Lennon.
Cisse's pace and ability to carve out opportunities from nothing makes him so valuable.

I understand why people are saying leave him out but I feel we really need him. Two of his three goals have been in games that we have gained 4 points from and the one at Bolton was a farcical game due to Hills goal not given.

It's a tough one and a question I posed to my mates at 2-0 up last night - who the hell do you drop from that team to bring him in?? Most potent goal threat at the Club but every single player (with the exception of Onuoha, for me) played out of their socks. Again.
