Looks like it's Carlos Corberan 15:25 - Dec 19 with 2764 views | GRIM | If the rumours are true then it looks like our new manager will be Carlos Corberan. I personally don't know much about him apart from the fact that he's done well at WBA. Apparently he's considering an offer that's on the table from us. Let's get it done & look forward to some improvement from the Russell Martin era.
Looks like it's Carlos Corberan on 15:50 - Dec 19 with 1728 views | DorsetIan | If true, another underwhelming appointment. Although I guess by the law of averages one of these Championship managers is going to cut it in the PL one day.

Looks like it's Carlos Corberan on 15:58 - Dec 19 with 1683 views | A1079 | Not for me Grim. I don't see him as that much improvement on what we have had recently. I am happy to be proved wrong but on the play offs many WBA fans were unhappy with his style and his reluctance to adapt.........sound familiar???????

Ultimately, no chances created hence no goals, pretty obvious to the so called get it up the field supporters." Must be a Saints fan talking about an RM side, right? Wrong. It's a WBA fan talking about Corberan. It seems he gets almost as much stick for his "patient" build up play as RM does.

Ankersen is stubborn and narrow-minded. There's a whole world out there to choose from, which is what successful clubs do, but, unfortunately for us, SR don't.

We all know Ankersen's management recruitment motto: # Embrace Failure Of course, any sane person knows if you embrace it, don't be surprised if that's what you get. [Post edited 19 Dec 16:39]

Let's just hope it's a rumour then. But in reality what decent ambitious Manager / Coach would choose to come here under this ownership.

F*ck me they really want us to stop going don't they? because this slow play passing b*llocks is exactly the way to do that.

If my memory serves me correctly we played W B A four times last season, winning three and drawing the other game. Was this Corberan fella their manager on all four occasions ? If so, on that basis alone, why in the name of everything that is holy is it being suggested we have approached him ? Honestly, the idiots at Sports Republic couldn’t run a bath or manage to get home on a dark night.

Excellent! No to constant passing. Bring us the one they call Moyes. The long throws and crosses into the box were a joy to behold yesterday. Is a fitter team, giving it their all, lobbing it into the box too much to ask for? Quick counter attack is our best way of getting results. [Post edited 19 Dec 17:38]
