Going against the grain here, but I think if he’ll take a Cyrus Christie type contract until the end of the season it’s a win-win.
Clearly an area we’re struggling in. I’ve even read ‘we’re missing a Paterson type’ a few times on here.
If he wants a longer deal, then no, but to help us out in the short term and put himself in the shop window, I think it makes sense. |

We cannot afford a player who only contributes 20-30 minutes a match. Watch him during highlights he looks a hell of a player, watch him for an entire game and the number of mistakes and misjudgements he makes are quite astounding. Leave well alone from me. |
Yeah he does. But he also opens up defences, which nobody in our squad does at the moment.

I’m only looking at it as signing him or not signing him and at the moment we have an obvious vacancy for that kind of player.
