If only the BBC would sack Lineker for all his inappropriate comments.

When they tried to suspend him his co presenters went in strike.

Wonder if the will now support Jenas

It sure what he’s done but I agree it’ll be very disappointing if it’s for political comments.

What might have been deemed to be just a bit of banter between work colleagues a while ago, can now be regarded as "inappropriate"

Although, they must have been extremely inappropriate texts to be immediately sacked.

I can remember when we first got an internet enabled computer in school. Must have been about 1992.

I remember the old boy who was the IT teacher explaining about email. He said:

“We don’t know much about this yet, but my advice is send nothing to anyone you wouldn’t write on a postcard and send to your Nan.

One of the best pieces of advice I’ve ever been given.

I just dont get people who send texts or emails that could be taken as inappropriate.

There isn't many things that can't be deemed to be inappropriate these days.

Some people can find offence in anything, if they look hard enough.

More complaints coming out of the office. Let's face it some bloke chance their arm all the time and hope to get lucky. It is one way of operating. Cast the net out wide and long and see what fish you can haul in.

The downside is that you get a reputation as a creep or these days predator.

The goal posts change when it suits, I've lived and worked over the bridge for nearly 20yrs now and love all the banter at work in our inner circle of mates who are white & black ,male & female we say things to each other that would make your teeth curl, we socialise out of work on the p1ss, BBQ's, ...etc laughed & cried together at weddings and funerals but move out of that inner circle and people are ready to pounce on you. Some rainbow wearing lanyard manager child who wants to be identified as a Unicorn or something started talking to me like a cunnt one day in a stupid Gavin & Stacey accent in front of some of my mates and members of the public I said would you take the p1ss out of my accent if I was a Pakistani that would be funnier wouldn't it?

The Unicorn died in front of my eyes that day never to speak to me again.

Is there a problem with the settings on here? I’ve selected the football-only threads option but this seems to be a chat about how great On The Buses was.

Anyway, I never rated him as a pundit. Or as a footballer.

Poll: How long would you give Russell Martin to turn things around?
