And since 8th of October, how many Israelis have Hamas killed? As opposed to the 20 odd thousand civilians killed by Israel?

Only ones I can see invading anyone in recent times is Israel. Invading, stealing land and occupying.

At least Hamas aren't firing rockets indiscriminately into Israel.

Russia makes it's own , and it's out producing the west even the US. It's economy is doing well too, despite the western propaganda The point is, Ukraine has been selling weapons that it was given by the west

Why should Jews want to be assimilated back into Europe when they had been discriminated against for centuries particularly in Russia. Remember the Russian Pagroms. Why would the Jews want to return to Europe when half of it was under Russian occupation. Returning to their historical Homeland Israel which existed thousands of years before Islam sermed perfectly logical and the United Nation decided to create Israel The Arabs countries, most of which did not exist prior the end of Otterman rule, refused to accept and in fact Egypt invaded Palestinian gaza strip and Jordan invaded the West Bank. Both these area were designated as part of new Palistinian state it was the Arabs who denied the Palistinians the chance of being an independent state.

Why would they want to go back to Europe,it’s where they had homes, lives and property. They would have spoken the language of their respected countries too.

Perhaps because millions of them wanted to live in their home country not be second class citizens in other countries. I doubt they had homes in Europe after the second World War particularly as any homes the had in Germany and the Russian occupied countries of Europe were long since destroyed.

Yes it’s where they would have had such lovely memories like that time the brick went through the window and that occasion when Juden! was painted on their front door. Or that time uncle Otto was taken out and shot. They could have sat and reminisced fondly of the day soldiers burst in and dragged them all out to the ghetto. It’s those lovely memories of home that they would love to go back to, they caught a glimpse of home whilst they were on the packed train east. What an adventure! It was tough at the time but they can laugh and smile fondly now.

The middle east would have been and was an alien place , and not a peaceful one either and they would have had to start from scratch. A difficult decision and no simple answer. Who was correct us or the Yanks?

You seem to have forgotten when the Russians reached the outskirts of Warsaw and encouraged the Jews to revolt against the Germans. The Russian army let the German army massacre the Jews and only then did the fight the Germans in Warsaw. Is it any wonder why the Jews did not trust the Russian and chose not to live in any of the Russian occupied countries after tye war.

What do you mean the persecutors had long gone? Millions of people voted for the Nazis. Ordinary people refused to use Jewish owned businesses. Ordinary people shouted abuse in the streets. Thousands walked past the ghettos every day with their noses in the air. You know most of those who returned ‘home’ had no homes to go to as they had been confiscated so ended up in another internment camp.

Not just Germany , there were jews from all over Europe that could have returned to their original countries, and many did. The Germans were in no position to persecute anyone , they were too busy surviving

Poland, Hungary, Latvia, Estonis, Lithuanian, Romania East Germany, Austria, Bulgaria Czechoslovaki etc were all occupied by anti Semitic Russian. They wanted their freedom not persecution by the Russian who were as bad as the Germans. [Post edited 5 Jan 10:39]

It was the nazis that rounded up tens of thousands of jews to send them to camps. Many were just shot en route, taken to woods and shot in the back of the neck. Once again, the red army liberated many camps, inc Auschwitz Birkenau

Think you will find it was the Russian army that invaded Poland and rounded up all the captured Polish officers and murdered them on Stalin's orders.
