And yes it really is that easy to unintentionally imply a causal link with what at face value looks like a harmless statement.
I was at the game against Bristol City, working on the day of the Norwich game, and then at the Stoke game so I have absolutely no idea what has been said by Nick London about the club or by the club about Nick London.
I am sorry that he's gone. His commentary wasn't usually to my taste but I can say that about so many pundits and commentators, and he obviously was very popular with the fans overall. As someone who has experienced big consequences over a lack of care in a silly comment I do feel for him.
Still, at least he can now enjoy the games and not have to work while doing so, just as they're becoming a bit more enjoyable. And now he fits his own very special definition of the phrase "QPR Legend". |  | | |

I've been listening to the official comms since it started and was gutted when Nick left.
I stilll miss him, but have been impressed with the new guy and good luck to the next new guy in Feb.
Does anyone remember when Brett Angel used to co-host on the comms for a few games?

Disconnected during half time to go and potter about in the kitchen, then when I reconnected, it was the voice of the guy who does the voiceover for the Extended Highlights video (who was boring as f*ck, kept leaving long gaps in his commentary and also kept pronouncing Paul Smyth's surname as "Smythe", which was beyond irritating..)

Commentary for me has definitely gone downhill since London was banned from West London.

I think that was the allocated Sky commentator because when I watched the extended ones on Sky's Youtube channel, it was his coverage. Smythe indeed.

I think Nick London must of already been on shaky ground for calling Patrick Bamford a cheat as it made the Daily Star. That can't have gone down well with the Football League and the FA as it was broadcast on an official club channel. But I still can't work out why Nick London would be talking about an internal club matter about a member of staff during a football commentary and therefore ended his career as the club commentator
