That would be hard to say, sometimes when you rid a team of pre madonnas the bond and team is stronger. Karma in a way, refuse to play for your country and you miss out on a WC medal. I wonder how they feel today, mixed emotions for sure. [Post edited 20 Aug 2023 15:44]

On reflection England can't be happy another tournament has gone by and no cigar, England fans that actively follow the Lionesses can't be totally happy and the powers that be, the administrators, the decision makers above the manager and coaches, I've checked out what has been said in the past by their hierarchy and I think they will be disappointed that a football country of England's size has not won the big prize again, regardless of the spin and England are World champions at spin, I think they will be disappointed another tournament has gone by without them winning, if I was an England fan I would be disappointed.
