This is one of those situations where I fear the manager would have been hoping to get to 0-0 at half time, and having done so, will feel his approach is working.

The problem is that it’s absolutely not working, we’ve been exceptionally lucky, and the reality is Burnley will easily win this if we try to do the same thing 2nd half.

Admittedly I’m not sure there’s much to be done by us that can stop a side as good as them, but you would hope for a few adjustments at half time. Drewe needs cover.

Well clearly I don’t know what I’m talking about and I couldn’t be more delighted about it

Fitting that it was Field and Martin with the goals. Solid pros.

The most qpr of all qpr results, serve you up a turd week after week, then just when you’re expecting the biggest slice of turd ever, it’s caviar.

Need Wigan to beat reading then we’re almost guaranteed safe.

We've looked totally unrecognisable since Sinclair's come on: going direct when you've got some actual pace up front is a completely different proposition. So much more threatening, so much more room for Chair to play. He surely has to start the last two games.

We're still absolutely clinging on, mind, but the fact we're actually posing some threat on the break means Burnley can't just pile forward.

4 minutes of 8 left, can barely watch.

to be fair Dieng had very little to do in the second half bar a few flops to the ground.

Beautiful smash and grab performance.

Burnley commentators on the stream going apopleptic about only 8 minutes being added and moaning about our sh ithousery.

Saltier than the dead sea, we enjoyed the commentary as much as the game.

The Burnley commentators on the stream whingeing it wasn't enough. They reckoned it could be nearly double.

Oh and apparently we've got Cher gracing us with her presence today.

If he could turn back time.

YES YES YES YES YES!

This blooming club!

I will probably get banned from the restaurant I am in for thumping the table so hard in celebration.

Well done my team.

When our game was still dragging on, with all the others having finished, I said to Mrs R from Afar: "Guess what Rangers have done now: They've only gone and broken time!"

And breathe....

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Unbelievable!!!

Good on the 500 up there.

Only the Rangers could do this. We might be small, we might be mostly crap, but there is no other team like us.

WE ARE QPR, said WE ARE QPR!!!

Can you believe it? NO! Unbelievable!

Usually think we can scrape a draw but that's three times I've predicted us to lose and three times we didn't. Should have started doing that a few month's ago.

Is there anything more QPR than that, beating the champions elect with the only unbeaten home record in the leagues on 19% possession stats.

Oh my if we can only keep Armstrong fit.

Dickie has to take MOTM saved 3 goals first half. But Sam Field POTS elect was outstanding again

That was an immense second-half performance.

Big shout for Dickie, without whom we could have been four down by half time, Chair who was brilliant second half, and Armstrong who completely revitalised us. Two great finishes by Field and Martin, great assist from Lowe. We're not over the line yet, but this gets us a lot closer.

Most of all though, congratulations to all the away fans who took that trip today, in the face of certain defeat. Today is the least you deserve for putting up with the rest of this season.

I decided not to watch this, recent matches have been too much of a long-term traumatic mood reducer. Now I kinda wish I had. Should I watch the rest?

No I don't think so. Something bad is bound to happen.

(of course it probably will anyway. But I still think I'll stay here instead.)

Me neither ... although I did turn it on for the last minute of injury time, missed all the goals. I can't believe what we've just gone and done. This one is for Clive and all the supporters who stayed with the team week in, week out. Unbelievable Jeff.
