Anything I edit is usually to correct a grammatical error or in your case add a screenshot of the exact quote for your ease of reference.
That practice will not be changed to suit your preferences I'm afraid. Writing out identical posts with corrected typos is not conducive to a flowing discussion thread, hence the edit button exists.
