Benda took a pay cut (as did his agent) 08:43 - Jan 12 with 3714 viewsJonathandeGuzman

Peterborough chairman MacAnthony, told the reporters that Benda and his agent have taken a pay cut to ensure the deal went trough.

Really like his determination to go out and play. I regard him as a good shot stopper, who still has loads of potential. Hope the loan works out for him. Don't think he will want to go back and be a number 2 if the loan ends. Could still bring in some money if he impresses on loan.

Benda will not want to play number 2 next season. I expect him to move on and another young keeper as back up.

Still a lot to play for, Benda plays and plays well then there could be a few questions asked.
Fisher doesn't come in with a massively solid reputation and the rest if the season could go either way with him especially in a division above with a team in a transition season.

Going to be an interesting 4 months on this front, I hope Benda goes there and does really well, gives us a dilemma to consider him or if he does well then it knocks his price up.

Benda is a player we should have persisted with. So much potential there.

Agree with that. Hamer deserved a crack after some of the early season blunders. But now on reflection Benda should have been given another opportunity. If Fisher is only half decent I can’t see a way back for Benda, he’ll not want to spend any more time as No. 2 for us

Benda had a chance and showed some promise but he gave away some terrible goals and wasn’t commanding enough in the penalty area in general.

I’m not sure if he is confident enough with the ball at his feet. He will improve but I’m doubtful that he had the complete game to be playing Championship football as a first choice …
