Cooper is on a carreer ladder. He is three rungs up on about £3-400,000 a year at a guess. His career is on an upward trajectory and he is already in the frame for big jobs.

Swansea city is the passport to bigger and better things as shown by Matinez, Brendan and Potter. There is no reason at all for Cooper not to fullfill his contract and he will want to avoid dissmissal as his trajectory would become 'Clementine'. He has no language skills so Belgium would be tough. He will argue he has managed to keep the club at close to the same level with an ever decreasing budget. He has also mananged big egos like Ayew and even got a song out of Borja for a month or two and got Villa to take him off the book.

He will deny emphatically that his eye is now off the ball. Contacts with Fulham and Palace were bout player availability and the rest is press speculation he has no control over. Onwards and upwards. This site have every right to question this narrative. Jobs like Swansea are difficut to get and Cooper will not give up the next 12 months. With Wilson or Gibbs white providing ammo for three fast hungry strikers and Benda, Brandon Cooper and Garrick pressing hard against Latibeaudire, Whittaker and Cullen (who will be desperate to kick on) things might turn out better than many expect.
