A sign of weakness perhaps. I still await a response to a email which I sent him several.months ago. Totally discourteous if nothing else. So what do you expect. He apparently is lord of all he surveys.
Please don,t complain, it might be taken that we still don,t have enough pen pushers.

Going down with a whimper at this rate. Board won’t sack BBM citing pandemic/loss of income/trust in manager to get us back up etc. Baah to go end of season for nowt & any half decent bid for Humphreys accepted. Usual end of season clear out & lack of signings. Thoroughly depressing. EDIT- Wonder if I should put myself forward as club morale officer. Any salary over £50k considered.

That would only come if 3 new roles were created under the head role, freeing up time for preening and posturing.
I look forward to applying for the upcoming unadvertised position as Director of Pies. I could build an empire by recruiting a departmental head of gravy.

That Cambridge game was actually a good trip! Snow on the way down (in April), started off with Bayliss, Hill, Monington, Farrell, Pender and Lydiate in the side and even played quite well.
Hence my point about better than we play now, even with Farrell, Pender and Lydiate involved!

Though would say there’s a much better squad now, unfortunately they appear to have lost some belief and with each passing game there’s less positives to hold onto. Under Barrow it was dire throughout.

The clearout needs to start with the CEO.
The present moribund situation has become the norm and will continue to be the status quo. The die hard fans are no longer considered to be the loyal paying customers. The only way that it becomes apparent that the fans are disenchanted is when they count the number of season tickets sold next season.

James, if you’re playing Devil’s advocate, that line of questioning could be used for every club in the country.
This is true however other clubs will have more depth than our squad. Look how injuries have hampered the mickey's this season. (no I'm not comparing us to Liverpool) just losing key players affects teams throughout the pyramid. Beesley and Humphrys would be our 1st choice front 2 I'd guess, how many times have they played 90 minutes together. Would Amankwah have been a better CB partner for EOC?

We’ve definitely suffered with injuries. However, we’ve suffered much more with how we employ the players available.

How else will the off field battalion be funded?
And STILL no left back.
Still, I expected a thumping tonight, so a 1 nil loss is a minor consolation.
Of course, completely forgot. In all seriousness, where do the club advertise these vacancies? I’d be genuinely interested to see what other roles we still ‘need’ to fill...
Look on the bright side Judd, we didn’t concede within the first fifteen minutes. Small gains lead to big changes and all that.

This. Plus, would Amankwaah be any further along, development-wise, than Roberts? I doubt it. You only have to look at Bazunu; as talented as he is, the inconsistencies in his game are why he’s being loaned to us, in the hope he learns and irons them out.

It doesn't work in that you don't get replies when you send it to his Dale address. Are we advertising for the new position of a Director of Communications with additionally qualifications of good old fashioned courtesy to the paying customer.
He's not the only one at the club not replying to emails. I don't think we have ever felt so disconnected on or off the field.

Do the board know anything about football? do theyever ask BBM to explain his personnel and tactical choices? We have performance analyst, I am sure they are top blokes but so far they seem to be a waste of money.
