Some cracking goals there, not many tap ins.

Watching the video shows what body strength Humphrys as and he is not scared to shoot aswell....

A couple of those goals where similar to hendersons...

A good bit of business by the board.....

My all time favourite Dale player Mr Lyndon Symmonds

Could potentially be one of the best signings we've made in years. Both in terms of what he may contribute to the team and what, if successful, he could command when inevitably he's sold.
We clearly didn't see the best if him when he was with us first time around and looking at that highlights video he looks like a top quality forward. Genuinely two footed, pacy and with a good amount of skill.
Exciting times ahead!

He's the polar opposite to our ex captain in terms of his style of play / persona both on, and seemingly, off the pitch......let's not compare the two players in any way, shape or form!!

Hard to tell as there is no definition of sizeable & Southend won't want it known if it seems low. If no-one else was chasing him and they were going to lose him next year anyway, we may have got a bargain

Wasn't it reported that he was signed "against competition from other clubs" ?

I'd be amazed if the overall fee wasn't the Dale record, but we may have to get used to that never being clear-cut again

Brizzle Rovers had expressed an interest, and enquired but the player made it known that he wanted to come here, as it was nearer his home and roots, that he had been happy here previously, at which point they dropped their interest.

I'm going to make a rather optimistic prediction. I reckon we may well end up selling him for seven or even eight figures.

Yup. I did wonder if maybe some were getting a bit carried away with his potential signing, but watching the video he's obviously a far better player than when he was here for the loan spell. Looks a genuinely exciting prospect and the fact he actually wants to be at Dale is great. Every confidence BBM will get the best out of him, because reading the Southend forum there are accusations that he tended to go 'missing' quite frequently.

Certainly given my enthusiasm for the coming season a boost.

£1,000,000.50 wouldn't be too shabby.

Yes, there’s an interesting thread on Twitter from fitzo about the transfer. I’ll try and post the pertinent points for the benefit of those who don’t have Twitter.

Cheers for that, I don't do social media. Judging by some of the comments on here, I'm happy to steer well clear of the Facebook page.
