Ace and Drizzy feel able to claim that the very notion of Cultural Marxism is a taboo subject (suspicious that) and an "anti-Semitic conspiracy theory".
So it should be easy for them to destroy my argument then right? Or alternatively their mate ECB will delete this in order to avoid the conversation.
The Frankfurt School perspective of critical investigation (open-ended and self-critical) is based upon Freudian, Marxist and Hegelian premises of idealist philosophy. To fill the omissions of 19th-century classical Marxism, which could not address 20th-century social problems, they applied the methods of antipositivist sociology, of psychoanalysis, and of existentialism. The School's sociologic works derived from syntheses of the thematically pertinent works of Immanuel Kant, Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, and Karl Marx, of Sigmund Freud and Max Weber, and of Georg Simmel and Georg Lukács. Like Karl Marx, the Frankfurt School concerned themselves with the conditions (political, economic, societal) that allow for social change realised by way of rational social institutions. The emphasis upon the critical component of social theory derived from surpassing the ideological limitations of positivism, materialism, and determinism, by returning to the critical philosophy of Kant, and his successors in German idealism – principally the philosophy of Hegel, which emphasised dialectic and contradiction as intellectual properties inherent to the human grasp of material reality.
I’ve always enjoyed Starkey’s books ( the ones I’ve read anyway) and his TV series. But there’s no getting away from the fact that he’s a massive failure as a human being.

Christ aside I don’t know of any individual without feet of clay.
Even Alan Curtis played for Cardiff...

Kerouac, yet another example of those non Marxist BLM leaders, this one is in the UK.
Gary McFarlane is one of the stalwarts of the Socialist Workers Party.
He’s also black and has been involved with BLM UK.
Individual groups associated with BLM are hard left, or Marxist, or any degree of anarchist nut jobs. That doesn’t mean the people supporting Black Lives Matter as a movement are all Marxist any more than you believe the royal family are reptiles because David Icke is a fellow climate change denier. Although...

He’s a success story Shirley? Horrendous upbringing, openly gay at a time it was a criminal offence to be so.
If you mean bit of a c*nt then fair enough.
The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

The BLM supporters need a nice middle of the road organisation to support. Not people who want to bring down police, capitalism and governments. Nobody would have anything to complain about then. But that organisation would need funding by a different set of people.

Never met him, Lis, it’s doubtful I ever will, but I do wonder what he’s like out of the spotlight either in academia or the media where he’s obliged to don the mask and be ‘David Starkey?’
I can’t imagine it’s a role he can maintain 24/7.
He is absolutely box office. Always entertaining, his takedown of Laurie Penny was brilliant. Could listen to him talk about history all day, but he does have an unnecessary nastiness and arrogance about him.

Kerouac, I am amazed that you haven't put up the story of the Atlanta protestor shooting where they shot & killed an 8 year old Black girl. As with the 16 year Black boy in Seattle, their lives only matter when whites and cops kill them. Where are the MSM banner headlines, rallies and protests for these kids?
