All Pubs seem beautiful to me right now but a thread for the best looking pubs you've ever seen.

For starters, The Blackfriars

The splended Woolpack in Slad, Gloucestershire.

The Woolpack is a great pub as well as a beautiful one. Currently operating as village shop and takeaway and they have put on some sort of extension at the back, presumably looking to make more space when they re-open as a pub.

I've dug out a flask and am planning to get a few pints in and drink them on Swift's Hill the next sunny evening we get.

Back in the wilderness years of the lloyds of london bermuda triangle i loved the Edwardian Fascia of the Still and Star pub, a shame it was stuffed to the tits with Village of the damned reinsurance brokers from Buckhurst hill inside.

The Lamb tavern, New Moon, hoop and grapes, counting house , elephant, wine lodge, ship, East india and the hung drawn and quarterd are steeped in architectural history but it's somewhat tarnished by being full of Non-marine brokers in renewal season, ripped to the tits on class 'A' off the rock chisel and spangled on having just drunk a fem-doms salty piss from an erlenmeyer flask in the knocking shop above robert dyas in leadenhall market.

Haha! Speak for yourself Glenn! That said I'll add the long since defunct and appropriately named Pumphouse to the list.

How about the Counting House in Cornhill?

Good call, it really is a beautiful place, my local when at work. Which is obviously never at the moment. I miss it.

I hope they haven't blocked out the view from the window at the bar. That view should be listed!

I went there on a walk once. Staying in Stroud we walked out to Slad early doors. Couple of beers in the Woolpack then up into the hills and stopped at the Kings Head in France Lynch for lunch. Finished back in Stroud in the Crown and Sceptre where the locals were having a bit of a jolly up with live music and so on. Tremendous.

When I went to Belfast a couple of years ago each and every pub I went in was a place of beauty, all authentic and probably not changed much in 100 years.
