Never a MW type of player. Takes several touches to control and move the ball and poor vision, which is no good for breaking a press. Wins a lot in the air but a high percentage go straight back to the opposition. Slow.
Having said that he's a wholehearted player that gets stuck in, tackles, blocks and heads and MW has found him very useful as cover. Part of me sad to see him go but I know he would hold back MW building the sort of team he wants. Better gone. | | | |

We have a young kid as our best cb who was going on loan a few weeks ago.
Barbet is forever injured and hall can't defend to save his life.
He is a proper defender, whether he fits into Warbs plans is irrelevant when considering what we have at our disposal at the minute. | | | |

I Believe that Lee Hoos has confirmed previously that we have a teeny tiny bit of FFP wiggle room to play with, and than all the hacking and slashing has brought us into line - hence the £3m bid for McKenna in the summer.
I like Leistner, i don't think he's a bad player, but if he's going to be effectively 4th choice when Barbet is back, saving his wages, which are i believe the higher end of our new pay structure, is no bad thing... |  |

According to Sky he got his 8th after the leg breaking tackle against Leeds,and his 9th against Blackburn on Tuesday.
