After the ruling of the Supreme Court surely he has to resign? I’m not wanting to start a brexit post here. His actions have been ruled unlawful by our most senior court, not been a great few days coming after the revelations of his dalliance with the American woman

The Brexit vote was an issue that got more people of the couch to go out and vote more then any other. What’s the point in going out to vote in a rigged system.

Isn't that just normal democratic process? One idea being favoured by a group being challenged by another?

This has always happened. if it didn't we wouldn't have fundamentally different political parties representing their idea of what is the best way of running the UK : (small c) conservatism, classical liberalism or democratic-socialism. We'd just have some weird scenario where every government since the dawn of time was a bland homogenous gathering where everything went unchallenged.

All we're seeing now is a divisive single issue being played out over an extended period of time. It'd be wrong to expect the "losing" side to just give up an accept any result in a democratic process. We should expect the government to be opposed, ideas to be challenged and a common sense "meeting in the middle" to occur.

Ahh the old democracy card, brilliant the one that allows everyone who lost the actual vote to now chuck every single item they can possibly find out the pram in order to fook things up further, to suit their own personal agenda, cock all to do with the countries interests.

Its funny watching all the petty point scoring,my shit smells better than yours...when in truth they are all a set of self engrossed devious, thieving bunch of vvankers anyway, not keen on most of them but that Corbyn chap has about as much charisma/appeal as a house plant and probably a similar IQ, hes got more skeletons than a bloody cemetery, how the fook he gets a salary is nothing short of a national scandal.

It was the Tory party mp’s that stopped brexit, remember they had a majority after the referendum?. It’s Johnson that keeps ballsing things up because he doesn’t have a clue what he is doing, and yet Corbyn whose job it is to oppose the government ie he is leader of the opposition, is is lacking in charisma and he is a national disgrace. WOW

Preventing scrutiny vis-a-vis Brexit and it was this that led them to the conclusion that the prorogation was unlawful, that is, it wasn’t for the reasons he provided. Boris’s position has always been that the prorogation had nothing to do with stopping Brexit scrutiny. By logic then he can’t say that recalling Parliament will hinder Brexit. In doing so, he’s admitting that the prorogation was to stop Parliament scrutiny of Brexit. He’s contradicting himself massively. The only way he can disagree with the Court’s Judgement is by sticking to his assertion that it had nothing to do with Brexit.

Yes, i understand what you're saying, but i'm saying it's irrelevant since the court didn't adjudicate on the reasons (or lack of them) for the prorogation

The court went out of it's way not to do so, to avoid the very real accusation of political bias that would've ensued

Yep. The democracy card. Nothing goes unopposed in a democracy. That’s how it works. Every single decision made in the Houses of Parliament is subject to scrutiny, checks / balances , debate. We don’t all suddenly arrive at a consensus and agree with each other. Anyone who lives outside of an echo chamber knows that. It just so happens that most of the adult population have engaged in the Brexit process and politics in general when they otherwise couldn’t be arsed being an active citizen and they’re now getting a lesson on how the country works. If you don’t like it organise a protest, write a strongly worded letter to your MP or fuq off to some banana republic where the government ignores any form of opposition.

You can’t be found to have acted unlawfully if your actions were not unlawful at the time. At the time of his actions it was unlawful to provide incorrect (to put it diplomatically) reasons to our head of state, which she is duty bound to accept, for suspending Parliament. This is what he did.
I agree though that this is not a Brexit issue. Brexit or not you can’t have the Prime Minister acting unlawfully.
The likes of David Davis, who has just come out and said Boris is facing a pro-EU establishment, need to be careful here. They are inferring that his suspension of Parliament was indeed about Brexit. If that’s the case then he is confirming the Judges’ ruling because that’s not the reason Boris gave for suspending Parliament.

The advice Boris gave to HM was deemed to be lawful, by the Attorney General. We now have a ruling that makes clear that the advice was in fact unlawful. The PM was acting on that advice when he spoke to Queen.

The precedent has now been set and a clear verdict passed down.

“It is easier to fool people, than to convince them that they have been fooled”

An advice can’t be lawful. It can’t decide if something is or isn’t lawful. An advice advises, that’s all. A good advice should also set out the risks.

It’s certainly not irrelevant with regards to how Boris ‘strongly disagrees’ with the Judgement.
He’s the one making it about Brexit, not the Court (as you’ve said)

Its like choosing between Roland Bergkamp and Pim Balkestein to play up front, just because ones shit it doesnt automatically make the other a better option.

Regardless of who the competition may/Not be I wouldn't trust that vvanker to run a fooking bath never mind a party, I'm more surprised a grown adult thinks anything else to be honest.
