Personally I would of preferred another year in the Prem for them, it does nothing for our cause them coming back down, parachute payments, no excessive spending, a pretty decent championship side ready to go and us well, more will be leaving than arriving over the summer. They really have a good shout of going back up, if they hold on to Warnock they will have the most experienced championship manager with a superb track record at championship level, for us it's another team we need to beat and at the moment not looking likely.

Dry your tears. How could you get another season when you are so shit? Never a premier league club. Just one that’s got out of the championship a couple of times. Come back when you stay there for a season. So that’s never.

Strange highest ever position but lowest ever points total by Cardiff in PL.

They only got 30 last time. 31 this time with one to play.

Our lowest ever was 33.

Just smile.

Aggregate points totals in the PL sums up the total gulf in class between the two clubs. It’s as big as the empty chasm between Valleyboys ears.

I’m not going to gloat (too much) as it tends to bite you on the backside, but this tweet from Paddy Power is comedy gold.

“Cardiff look doomed, and you can pinpoint the exact moment when their relegation from the Premier League looked inevitable this season.

It was when they got promoted to the Premier League last season.”

I love the way the commentator goes on about how on another day it could have been different etc.

What he forgets is that Palace had nothing to play for really whereas Cardiff had everything to demand their efforts. And they still lost.

That said, I don’t fancy playing them next year. Their style of play just doesn’t suit us and they’ve got to be favourites at this point in time to do the first ever double. However, it’s a derby and logic is defied on a consistent basis.

I think they are an average championship side.

With the exception of Murphy I’d take none of their players.

To be fair, I thought they’d stay up. I didn’t think anyone could be poor enough to finish below that Brighton team. I really underestimated how dreadful they are.

Fair enough.

Hahahahahahahahahaha.

In all seriousness, I’ve only watched them a couple of times this season and they have been very poor. Brighton have been equally dreadful and they’re fortunate to stay up. Fulham look like they could have done ok, so I’m surprised they’ve gone down, although it’s my favourite away ground by a mile and I’m happy we’re playing there again next season.

I agree about taking their players. Etheridge, Murphy, Gunnrson possibly but it’s their style of play that would beat us this season. We’ve lost to worse teams than them this season and generally to balls pumped into the box which Cardiff attack effectively.

No, not looking forward to playing them next year (I never have done) but I’ll enjoy tonight😄

If they keep Warnock I wouldn't bet against them competing for an immediate return. Of course, if they do make an immediate return they'll be straight back down again.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

He seems a heck of a lot better on crosses than ours!

Although tbf Nordfeldt is a good shot stopper and I haven’t seen Cardiff more than a few times this season so perhaps he’s been poor in the games I haven’t seen.

I’ll allow myself a small smile, but it just resurrects the thoughts of where we were last season with 10 games to go. Correct player recruitment In January and then last summer would still see us as a Premier club.
The standard of play by the bottom teams last season and this has been poor, resulting in us just needing continued tweaks to the squad.
All teams can say ifs etc
Still criminal that we aren’t still there
