Times saying SM could go this week... on 11:02 - Apr 1 by Northernr
Mail also reporting he's going today.
I don't think I can recall ever seeing a team fall so fast so quickly. Almost a blessing I am missing games at the moment. I renewed my ST in early Jan, full of the joys of how well it was all going.
Bare bones.

And here we go again. Someone else comes in to a shrug of apathy, maybe sparks a little optimism, then gets sucked into the quagmire. And then we'll do it all over again.

Agree, but after a run like this, I'm not sure what else the club can do. I think Holloway's time had come, I thought McClaren was the right sort of appointment (if not my choice), and in Dec it looked like really good. But after this run, I can't see how they can do anything else.
Options now appear to be:
Birch til end of season Ramsey til end of season Eustace til end of season Rangel til end of season
Or Ainsworth.
Or someone out of work.
Bare bones.

Rowett has to be in with a shout too, they've wanted him a few times haven't they?
That WLS/Dave Mc piece suggests his loans strategy has cooked him and they will use that as an excuse- but the owners allowed that albeit in panic after the first few results.
Strategic direction once again bouncing off walls of reality.

I mean his loans have quite irritated me this season, not least watching that waste man Hemed essentially collect a fiver out of my wallet on the way out of yet another cowardly performance.
Not to rake old coals, as I thought Hollway's time had come, he had a greater resource base in terms of wages and I thought McLaren was a good appointment, but I'm sure Ian would have loved to be able to loan 4 Premier League players at no little expense

Option G:
Gove in charge. Unilateral exit from Championship with Lynch backstop. Fleetwood by August.
