Fans Forum 27th March 20:56 - Mar 15 with 16757 views | TwelveAngryMen | The Interim Board have tasked me with organising a fans forum to assist them with understanding our requirements as fans as we look forward and start planning for next season. Ben Hatton, Michael Bolingbroke and myself are all confirmed to attend. If Ian Currie is available he will attend as well. Topics under discussion will include season ticket pricing, travel, requirements of exiles, stand allocation, communication, community engagement, the appointment of an SLO and what can be done to deliver the best matchday experience. The forum will be held at Rowley’s on Wednesday 27th March commencing at 7pm and will strictly be by invitation only. Non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided. In order to make the discussion as productive as possible the number of attendees will be limited to 50 to include committee members from BST, BSA, The Muckers and representatives from BASIL, Yorkshire Seasiders, Leyland and Chorley and the TKs. Having received feedback from those groups I have allocated the places available as follows — BST/BSA/THE MUCKERS — 4 committee places each BASIL / YORKSHIRE / LEYLAND AND CHORLEY AND TK’s - 2 committee places each. In addition BST/BSA/THE MUCKERS will be able to nominate up to 4 additional members each. I require names / addresses / ages for all attendees and also an indication as to whether (boycott period aside) they have been ST holders and if so for how long. This information is only being sought for demographic purposes. Assuming the committee members and general members allocation is fully subscribed that brings us to 32. I am also going to allocate one place to a disability representative (I have asked Chris Beveridge to attend or nominate). The remaining 17 places ( and any additional places that come available if any of the groups don’t use their full allocation ) will be made available to the general fan base whether affiliated to a particular group or not. Assuming there is sufficient interest I will look to allocate fair share to U18’s and Seniors. Anyone other than serving committee members of the above can email me on timfielding82@icloud.com providing the same information I seek of the fans groups nominations to register their interest in attending . If I am over-subscribed I will draw lots. The deadline for nominations for the open places is Thursday next 7pm. Hopefully I will see some of you at Burton tomorrow. Fans Forum 27th March on 22:02 - Mar 26 by janegallagher | Rotts 👠They can make changes short term but I think a lot of what goes on at the club will be up to the new owners going forward not the interim board As for the ex season ticket holders getting their old seats back. Good luck with that 😀 |
Jane. The season ticket thing might be a thorny issue. I'm glad I'm not dealing with it. Perhaps it's best if no one mentions it, the problem might go away.

Fans Forum 27th March on 20:17 - Mar 17 by spell_chekker | In the Seasiders' Podcast, TAM said he was at BFC all day, every day during the week and he had to make up the time at his own job at the weekend. That's not observational, it's hands on. That's great, BFC needs it, but shouldn't Hatton, Bolingbroke, and Currie do that? If they can't, they need either help or replacing. Observational means that you go to board meetings, listen, and report back. |
Don't think the season ticket seats will be an issue for most, as the majority of those with current full season tickets seem to be in the West, and most returnees will want to be in either the North or South. I'm sure however there will be a few for whom this will be an issue, really not sure what the answer is. PS Kophero, agree with your points 3, 6 & 7 however I could see those decisions being left upto the new owners. But if you don't ask you'll never know. [Post edited 26 Mar 2019 22:58]

Everyone very quiet and respectful. I've had a look round twitter and can't see any comments from inside the meeting. Someone might break ranks soon.

I've got tabs open on the twitter feeds of Scrafton, Blackpool FC, BST, Knights, Muckers, TAM. Nothing. All well behaved. Will have to wait for the gazette tomorrow.

Doubt you'd see them on the TK's, Muckers, BST, Gazettes etc official twitter feed, until tomorrow. More likely to see them appear on AVFTT or individuals twitter feeds imo. However, maybe everyone will be a good boy/girl and nothing leaks.

The interim board must have asked people not to communicate until, at the very least, the end of the meeting. It's respectful. Above board. It'd be nice to hear a couple of whispers though.

HOPING for decision on potential 12-point deduction in next 48 hours - Poor communication from the EFL, interim board not sure. Over 50 parties interested in buying the club - That's a lot. Let's hope there's a decent one in among them. Board aiming for crowds of 8,000-10,000 for next 4 games - 8-10k would be realistic and very good.

From the TKs Facebook page All the information requested by the EFL has now been provided by the club. If they can make a decision by Friday then any possible points deduction would be this season. Anything afterwards will be enforced next season and will obviously impact on the sale price. Accounts will be concluded by Monday and sent to the 50 interested parties for them to make bids. The vetting system will then provide further financial details to the preferred bidders. The rest of tonight was spent putting forward ideas which the board are going to consider. We will of course update you with any further information when available.

I hope the club will publish more details on what they put forward after the decision is announced. We should be told what was said.
