Some people seem to have incredibly miserable lives that they gain joy in making horrible comments about people they don’t know and who have never done anything to harm anyone.

As for the player herself, done herself no favours with her conduct towards the sport and in particular doping regulators. But unquestionably a superb athlete and the greatest female player of all time. But she will unfortunately be tainted for many who know the sport.

To be honest John, (pun not intentional), I wasn’t referring to your comment. Saying people are attractive or not attractive is a matter of personal taste. We all do it all the time. And we mean ‘to us’. Calling someone horrible looking isn’t particularly nice but isn’t any of my business.
It’s the posts about her being a ‘man’ or ‘born with a cock’ or putting ‘woman’ in inverted commas in that way is the bit that I was referring to as objectionable. Women get that a lot from insecure blokes - the references to them not being ‘female enough’ - it’s designed to demean and is really offensive.
