Newspaper Coverage 15:19 - Feb 19 with 3378 views | 56years | When I got the Times this morning I realised there was Stephen Davies on the front page, Davies and Andy Cannon on the back page, and Jim McNulty and his daughter on the front page of the separate Sports section - amazing coverage. I then went to the local supermarket and read through every single national newspaper (there is always one!) and the wall to wall coverage was unfailingly positive about the players, the fans and the club - some of the comments brought tears to my eyes! Whatever happens from now on in nobody can take that away from us, it is not just the money we have earned from the Cup run it is the respect of the football world and those who take a casual interest in the game. To me as a supporter of 'little old Rochdale' that means one heck of a lot!

Actually, it was: "He's big, he's round and now he's Wembley bound' Just a tad less critical of his frame...

Tbf to them, as silly as that headline was, they did gush over our 'progressive, attractive football' like all the other reports did. That's my favourite thing about last night - not just that we got a brilliant result, but that we did it playing OUR way. [Post edited 19 Feb 2018 17:32]
