This week's QPR podcast on 12:05 - Aug 31 by daveB | i found the whole thing cringeworthy this week, talking over each other all the time. Don't want to moan about it though as Finney obviously takes it a bit personally judging by his comments on the pod this week, you can't please everyone. not sure how many times we have to go over the Warnock thing but was clear at the time he didn't want the job full time and his wife getting cancer changed things. Was just a case of bad timing rather than a dreadful decision. Would be nice for fans to move on and get behind the current manager rather than fluttering eyelids at someone else. |
Haven't bothered listening to the latest one, I thought Finney appeared quite genuine with his acceptance of feedback on here. What was said on the POD in a nutshell ?
This week's QPR podcast on 20:40 - Aug 31 with 1740 views | WestonsuperR | Have listened every week for a few years now. Have to say Finney is not a presenter at all and surprised he is selected ahead of others when David (who is very good) isn't available, having said that it is impressive that Finney has come on to this thread, taken cristicism and responded positively. Would be great to have Clive on more often and ex-players with a passion for the club. I really like the feature of a fan of a future opponent being included, would even like to see them agree to come back for a review of the match the following week, who played well for QPR where were our weaknesses. In general I find it a good listen (far better than the Loftcast) and credit to all, including finney, for the effort to put this together each week. Well done lads.

just kept mentioning how much abuse he got on here which I thought was a bit odd i just though the talking over each other, the random asides and talking over Clint Hill made it a hard listen but I do enjoy it normally, cant be great all the time.

Shame he had to mention that as i thought he said he'll take criticism on here on the chin. Plus not everyone had a dig and he had some nice comments as well. Cant be easy doing a podcast though. Especially if he hasnt had training in broadcasting.. Clive and Mel should be regulars. Always worth a listen. Also Hunterhoop and neil Si. Id love it if paulparker got on there. Always good value on LFW.

This week's QPR podcast on 10:12 - Sep 1 with 1519 views | Rs_Holy | maybe we just have to think of this Podcast as a bit of fun? Its well worth listening to but it would be nice to have an alternative to the clubs Podcast. I like the clubs one aswell but they obviously cant scrutinise players, managers, tactics as much as a fan based podcast can.

I think the open all Rs podcast is pretty much a club one anyway now , the only one who says it how it is NorthernR, perhaps they cant criticize to much because they get the players on for their interviews , I have to agree the last one was terrible and cringe worthy I take it back about the American bloke as he isn't the worst guest on there that woman is btw I would recommended the Alive and Kicking Podcast about all things 90s football its hosted by a QPR fan and is very good especially with the nostalgia of the items such as the cup winners cup , Kits and players ,
| And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

This week's QPR podcast on 13:59 - Aug 23 by SonofNorfolt | Personally I think they should pay to get Mel on it. Or at least supply him with a couple of Swedish nymphos(preferably female) so he could up the ante. |
Plenty of those in the Boulevard!? I think the podcast is a fantastic listen; an hour of pure QPR chat to which Finney contributes plenty. Very easy to criticise, but can not imagine it's easy. These people are not trained media gurus just ordinary fans who certainly get my respect for giving up their spare time to discus all things QPR. The live podcast night's are always a cracking drink up as well. Keep up the great work all!
This week's QPR podcast on 16:32 - Sep 4 with 1294 views | Hadders | Just listened to the Grenfell edition made just before the game and I'd just like to say that Finney's presentation was sensitive, unobtrusive and moving.
