Nasri on 20:26 - Jul 7 by morristonboy | Who the hell are you to decide to criticise people. If you were a little more knowledgeable and widely read you would know about the Nasri attitude problems. France, Arsenal and Man City all found as his powers waned he was a real arse. I don't know how you thought Nasri was a good idea in the first place. Ah! But then I see you thought Bob was worth a shout. Top football knowledge. People in glasshouses. |
So you're criticising me, for criticising people, for criticising Nasri, comical. Yes people in glass houses sounds about right. Arsenal were desperate to keep him and he's had a successful spell at city, just not quite good enough for them anymore. So what he's had issues with France, would you also turn away Benzenma? And as for the red card for Sevilla, do you remember the ferrie bodde head butt? Or the Rangel red card against scunthorpe. 2 players now classed as legends. If people want to be critical and judge mental on here fair enough, but don't have a tantrum when it's given back.

Nasri on 20:09 - Jul 7 by Tummer_from_Texas | We're wanting to trim the roster and improve quality. Selling Sigurdsson to replace with a lesser player (while leaving some money left over to spend on more lesser players) achieves the opposite. Whatever we sell Siggy for, IF we are forced to go that route, we'd better have ONE equally talented player in mind to spend that money on. |
But to buy ONE player that gives us everything that Gylfi gives us will probably cost us more than we would sell him for. As one of you fellow countrymen said, Gylfi is priceless to us

Agreed - it's going to be impossible to replace Siggy unless we spend more than we get for him.

Nasri back in the Prem with us? Sorry son you got the football knowledge of a gnat. He will throw his toys out when the going gets tough. Leave well alone.
Nasri on 00:47 - Jul 8 with 1222 views | Rancid | He was a very good player under Wenger but has lost his way drastically since. He shat on Wenger and Arsenal too and chased the big buck at Man City. He's certainly good enough for us and anyone who says different obviously never saw him at Arsenal. It's a big no from me though even though it'll never happen anyway. For me Chadli... No knowledge of him over the others just that i feel that he would suit and that he would want to prove himself... Yes, I'm being subjective. Meh!

Where have I said I think he's joining us? I said he would walk into our team, and to suggest otherwise is something not even a dull gnat would say. Nasri has been directly involved in nine goals this season and has completed over a thousand of his passes with a 90% accuracy not to mention the 28 chances he has created up until now. The Frenchman, hands-down has been one of the standout performers for the side from Seville. Giving Real Madrid and Barcelona a run for their money this season. Sevilla coach, Sampaoli has praised the playmaker, saying his team “breathes” whenever the Frenchman is on the ball. “The team breathes when he has the ball.” Sampaoli said of Nasri, as quoted by The Guardian: “He has so much quality that he is able to relieve us when we’re being pressured by our opponent.” The turnaround Nasri has undergone at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan is nothing short of remarkable. However, for all we know, the 29-year-old is unlikely to get a chance of reestablishing himself at City. That said, no one should be surprised if a bigger club (with all due respect to Sevilla) come knocking at the door during the close season. Wouldn't be welcome here tho. Terrible attitude and not good enough. [Post edited 8 Jul 2017 5:25]

You need to read the posts. This exchange started as Jango was rude towards Aberhugh. He sais he did not have a clue about football. By all means disagree but how can ho presume any knowledge of another's grasp of the game? I am not the only one who has picked up on this, again refer to the other posts. I withdraw and apologise for my reference to a gnat. However, people should be able to post their views without withering comments about their competence to do so. From previous posts I note that Aberhugh has watched the Swans for 45 years so he has probably garnered a modicum of football expertise.
Nasri on 12:58 - Jul 8 with 1006 views | BobbyBacala | Can't agree with the posters saying Sigurdsson is the better player - he's a better set piece taker, but Nasri can do everything else Sigurdsson can and more. He can play anywhere in midfield too. There's a reason he's not got a future at City though and I wouldn't take him for that season, we're not a club that can carry players with an attitude. He's had lots of chances but hasn't learned from any of them, as mentioned above, his sending off in the Champions League vs Leicester was brainless. While I think he's a great player, it'd be too big a risk and I can't see it happening.

Yes he is a a long standig supporter. But I am aware of his work in the game from a distance. He has been insrumental in developing young players some of whom went on to have professional careers. He has done his coaching badges and passed referee exams. By all means disagree but to describe Aberhugh as not having a clue about football is wide of the mark. People need to remember they do not know who is posting.

he called Nasri a 'lazy waste of space' .That's far more insulting than me saying he doesn't know what he's talking about. And anyone who has the ignorance to call such a successful and talented footballer that isn't as clued up about football as they or you may think they are. And I wasn't actually referring to him personally, I was referring to anyone who thinks he's not good enough for the swans. [Post edited 8 Jul 2017 15:33]

I refer to my previous post. From what I know about Aberhugh if he islabelling a player in such a fashion I would not argue. Having spoken to people who have worked with him in the game he has an excellent knowledge of football. We are all pretty much agreed that Nasri has been an excellent player but there is too much about his attitude to ignore. As I sad before do not judge the knowledge people may have when you do not know them.

And from what I know of Arsene Wemger, Roberto Mancini and Jorge Sampaoli, if they believe him to have enough ability to play for arsenal, man city and most recently Seville then ill will not ignore them. This perception of players having a bad attitude is banded about far too often. They are top players for a reason. If you believe everything you read then the Ayew brothers have stinking attitudes and cause nothing but trouble. Hasn't stopped them performing superbly for the swans tho. And as I've said, i wasn't referring to him directly. I was referring to anyone who thinks nasri isn't good enough for the swans [Post edited 8 Jul 2017 15:58]
