If we get relegated it hasn't happened by drawing away at Man U - however it happened [Post edited 3 May 2017 6:01]

Which is the correct answer, with the greatest respect the op assumption is absurd, there are many more games than that have cost us

IF Swans are relegated but 1 point - Neil Swarbrick on 07:29 - May 3 with 4229 views | Elward | If we get relegated it isn't solely just down to the one game but collectively throughout the season. The only reason the Man Utd game has left a sour taste in peoples mouth is obviously the nature of how we dropped the points and it being so close to the end of the season with the impact it may have. Just think, if we had gone on to win that game and somehow avoided the last 5 minute imploding against Spurs, we would be 5 points better off.
IF Swans are relegated but 1 point - Neil Swarbrick on 07:38 - May 3 with 4194 views | shandyjack | if we go down the blame will land at the feet of two men, Huw Jenkins for taking his eye off the ball and putting it on his bank account, and Bob Bradley for being the worst manager to ever take on a job in the PL

I agree that the Utd. game is not the only reason for our current predicament. Bad management at all levels , on and off the pitch performances will obviously be the factors to blame for relegation if it happens. To be fair to the OP , I cannot see where he says that Swarbrick's decision is the only reason for us to be relegated. So maybe your assumption that his" assumption is absurd " is a little harsh! | | | | Login to get fewer ads

And Swarprick isn't on 60k per week. Easy to blame the refs (they don't help themselves either, generally being so shit), and not the poor pampered managers and players.

IF Swans are relegated but 1 point - Neil Swarbrick on 09:29 - May 3 with 3959 views | nierika | I find it silly to assume we would have won the match if they didnt get the pen before halftime. That changes the strategy for both teams for the rest of the game and its extremely unlikely the exact same free kick would have happened. Could have gone any of 3 ways. Hard to complain about a Draw away at ManU with all of the points dropped in the 6 week span. Just win 2 of our last 3 and Hull will need more than 4 pts. [Post edited 3 May 2017 9:30]

Add the one point combined v Hull and Boro. The garbage performances v West ham Bournemouth Watford of late. ... That's without the sacking of FG and hilarious appt of BB. However this downward spiral started when GM was appointed on a 3 yr deal allowed to bring in his mates and HJ appointed himself DoF. A position he has zero qualifications for

You see I wouldn't blame Bob. He had confidence in himself, he believed he could do the job. Nothing wrong with any of that. But the idiots who chose him, taking on what was obviously a massive risk, they need a good kick up the arris. Nobody could have known for sure that Bob would be a disaster, but there were some warning signs - e.g. no track record, American posters on here saying 'hold on, this isn't a good idea, we didn't like what we saw when he was in charge of the American team' - the signs were there. Huw and the Yanks for taking their eyes of the club last summer is the sole problem imo. We should have handled the changes in the team better, we should have handled the managerial situation better. And we had the wrong manager in the summer - Guidolin was too nice and let them all have a free ride. He should have been putting the pressure on to strengthen the team. Makes you wonder how much better off we'd have been if Brendan had got the gig instead of Guidolin's contract extension. In fairness to Huw (and it pains me to say this) the January window was much better. Olsson is a big improvement on our existing full backs. Ayew is finally showing he can be a player (if not the game changer that we desperately need). Carroll has been good too. BUT, Huw shouldn't even be here the way he's treated the club and fans for self gain (we've discussed that to death, obviously. [Post edited 3 May 2017 12:07]

In fairness to Huw... Fúck him. He deserves no fairness, the same level he showed us as fans. Besides, law of averages would dictate that we'd get better players, throw enough shìt and eventually some will stick.

IF Swans are relegated but 1 point - Neil Swarbrick on 20:59 - May 3 with 3173 views | icecoldjack | Sorry, IF we are relegated you can lay blame firmly at the feet of the sellouts, the yanks and Bob fookin' bradley . While the ref is incompetent, he wouldn't be the reason for our relegation. We must think carefully about banding this around too, the sellouts would love nothing better than to spin it so the Swarbrick takes the flak not them! If Jenkins is true to form he'll already be thinking of how to incorporate the iffy ref into his next program notes, deflection and smoke and mirrors is what he's always done best.
