Anyone know what this is about? I don't suppose they're QPR supporters, being from the midlands!
"That band from the '80s, that punk band, what are they called? The Queen's Park Rangers
Been around ages you tool We're all up in the top room of the pub Getting heavy with the past that didn't exist You reshape to give celeb mates Shoreditch yarn"

There is a lot of funk in this album. Not an easy thing. Years ago it would have been in the Black Echoes LP Charts as New Urban. I'm 50ish but I like it.
8/10

Best song by far is called "Rollertruck" I've only ever found it on YouTube, reminds me of my younger years working retail nightfill for asshole management

Saw them at Primavera sound in Barcalona. They didn't do it for me, maybe the bar was too high though as slayer, aphex twin, mogwai, swans and shellac all played 10/10 sets.

Whenever I hear them or Idles, I'm not convinced. It all sounds like Terrorists are Gay from the TV show Nathan Barley but without the irony.
Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

They've grown on me over the years. I find their sound and style quite refreshing compared to a lot music made these days. Its punk basically, at least i think. If electronic artists like Orbital , Leftfield and Prodigy want to collaborate with them, then you have to respect their unique vibe and sound. For hardcore fans of the Mods its probably not going to be up there with their best songs plus in a weird way, seems to go against everything they're about, but I really like their cover of West End Girls. Bought the record, naturally. It goes into my Sunday Shuffle pile.
Occasional providers of half decent House music.

I wouldn’t be against this being played before kick off at hq. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea but it would be different to the generic tunes every other club plays.
Maybe this belongs on the Shed Seven thread but “I never realised I’d be Queens Park Rangers all my life” would be a decent pre match sing a long in the Safe Standing areas.
