Absolutely abysmal.

Laughed and joked with Arsenal all day.

Gifted them a second.

Ashley Williams getting booked for a foul after Barrow was assaulted on the edge of their box pretty much sums Friend up.

Embarrassment.

I totally agree with the OP.
2 Yellows for Swansea and nothing for Arsenal despite some hacking fouls.

He made one or two errors but I didn't think it was a bad performance from him.

So there was no foul on Fab for the second Goal?
They don't come much bigger than that.

I need to see it again, I thought that Fab could have been stronger in that situation, everybody just seemed to switch off.

Didn't think he did too badly?
1 How did he miss the handball when approx 8 yards away and looking straight at it? Mertesaker clearly moves his arm to the ball!
2 Even Koscielny couldn't believe that their 2nd was allowed. Look at the expression on his his face on MOTD tonight.

99 times out of 100 if a striker and goalkeeper collide in the air a free kick is given whether it's a foul or not. We've had plenty of them given against us.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Fab was fouled from the side as he jumped, I am not sure if it was just a push or punch/elbow in the side.
I didn't think you were allowed to clatter goalies, but maybe you are.

Never forgave him after the blatant handball by Alcaraz at Goodison a while back. He was the only one in the stadium who didn't see it.

In his defence he let us get away with a lot of naughty tackles in the first half that should have seen bookings.

Remember Michu getting poleaxed at Spurs? Keeper nearly took his head off and yet still got the free kick.

There is no defence.

He has decided the outcome of the game.

How he didn't book the Arsenal player who brought down Montero in full flight just outside their box is completely beyond me.

Gave us absolutely nothing all day, as usual. The assistants were just as bad.

thats what I saw in the replay. Looked like a punch or nudge as his body moved in resistance to some sort of force into his side.

The ref was fine. He let us away with murder in the 1st half. Then to make up for him he decided the outcome for them in the 2nd half. What's the problem??

Pah. Fabianski should have got the ball anyway. Gomis should have scored anyway. Almost nobody could see the handball in real time, including our players. I thought he favoured them inthe 50-50s and Arsenal did benefit and on another day etc. But margins are so tight that's normally the case. Wasn't he also in charge when we won up there against them last season?

The ref didn't lose us that match.

Poll: TRUST MEMBERS: What DID you vote in the, um, vote

I've seen the Gomis chance half a dozen times on MOTD and am still not sure if it was a penalty and red card, as I felt in real time, or if Gomis made a meal of poor finishing. He should definitely have shot when about four or five yards from the keeper, but I knew he'd try and walk it around him, its his favourite move.

The handball in the wall was very difficult to spot in fairness, I notice not one of our players appealed at the time, because they hadn't spotted it.

As for their second goal, a definite foul on the keeper. No excuse for that, and it knocked the stuffing out of our boys, you could see they all thought "no way will we get anything out of this game, we're playing 12 men".

NOT a foul on Fab, did anyone appeal for the penalty ? Thought the ref did ok, tried to keep the game flowing.
