Huw Jenkins 20:20 - May 22 with 21809 views | Andy1300 | Just been for a meal in the Riverside in Gorseinon and sir Huw was there with his family also having a meal. Seems that Rossi's is out of favour now

The last time I went to the Toby car very in Gorseinon I was not impressed.

I much prefer the Reverend James. Was there just last night and tucked into their mixed grill which I would put very good money on being the best in Swansea if not South Wales. I cannot see how it could be beaten for VFM, taste and service.

You should be on commission for getting the punters in. A pint for every meal sold.

It's a very busy little pub. I hope it goes from strength to strength in these times of pubs closing daily.

If a pub does good food at a reasonable price it deserves to do well. So many places dish up poor meals and they wonder why customers don't come back.

The last time I went there was before the Italy game in the six nations last year It was a shambles, I waited for mushrooms as they were an extra, I had eaten my breakfast by the time they arrived. Was so unhappy I complained online and they sent me a voucher to use, I sent it back and have never gone back Not sure about the one in sketty though

He is more in to pakora with a light tikka starter, maybe a veggie samosa too, however, and this is a little known fact he has been known to nibble on a Bombay potato mid meal. ( post popadom) For a main he will always go traditional Korma since he soiled himself in The Hague in 2002 after a spicy Madras whilst urinating. A front and back food exit is never welcome after ten pints of Dutch lager. Like most of us he will generally leave an Indian desert to others . [Post edited 29 May 2015 1:35]
