We're much more like the Swansea of old with Ki as he doesn't give the ball away and keeps possession.I'm glad Monk had the sense to want and keep him.Possession is King.
I always thought he was good, it was Laudrup not using him properly was the problem. Yes he tired, but is that a surprise? He wasn't alone. Siggy was ineffective as a lone front man, should have changed him earlier, he wasn't closing down. We needed him to run himself into the ground. Taking Dyer off was a mistake, for me. Shelvey should have gone, Siggy drop back and Montero on. Pace would have helped us and maybe worried them. When he did come on, we gave him nothing much to work with.

Siggy didn't stop running as usual. Siggy isn't a CM. Montero was an absolute minge when he came on. Shelvey didn't do anything wrong. Taking a midfielder off today would have been suicidal.
I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.
Not his biggest fan by any stretch but he played well today.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
I thought he lost the ball too many times and when he did he didn't seem to bust a gut to get it back. Strange how we sometimes see players differently.
Lord_Jack increasingly detached from the riches of kicking a ball
When Leon is fit, we're going to have to choose our 3 midfield players from Leon, Ki, Shelvey & Gylfi. Would Leon automatically replace Ki, so we keep the same DM, CM, AM structure or should we rotate depending on our tactics and opposition? I've said a few times before that I'd like to see Ki play a bit further up the pitch instead of Shelvey. He seemed to be quite effective for Sunderland and Korea doing this.
Well, maybe not quite, but played very well today.
Where is Kiisgod? Someone mentioned her name. Did you guys finally chase her away for good or was this the work of the evil ex mod who banned her? :) I think even he is kool; lets all get along now.
Here is a Ki's wedding reception video a year ago, who practically got on the next plane to join Swansea at the summer camp:
