With NATO, Europe and the US calling Russia up on deceitfully sending their troops, and with diplomatic paths & sanctions failing due to Putin's disregard for the this, it seems there are vague possibilities of further intervention to uphold the rights of a European country.
So, best get planning just in case. Where would you go or what would you do in the event of a nuclear armageddon at the hands of those crazy ruskies?
(And NO! Doing an Indiana Jones and hiding in a fridge will NOT protect you!)

We're not necessarily the greatest team in football, the world has ever seen (but we're possibly the most honest and resilient).

They wont hit us. Due to their Cold War spy network being dismantled, the Russkies knowledge of Britain is drawn from National Newspaper Football coverage. They dont even know we exist.

Looking into this, in the UK we have very little choices. We do not have bomb shelters remaining, and our buildings are small and relatively open to any blasts or shockwaves - including radiation. It' suggested you remain as low as possible if you can't get indoors quick enough - like behind a kerb.... but our kerbs are much smaller in comparison to those in some other countries.
I know there are other cities more likely to be hit than Swansea..... but the options are very very limited which is odd considering the cold war only officially ended fairly recently.
If you're at home, or anywhere for that matter, it's the Gamma Rays that will get you. You need to minimise the impact from fallout by blocking any openings, and then considering materials that will reduce the pesky Gamma's getting at you. Here's a little guide over the materials you may have (and density required to be useful) to hand that can be used to stack around your home or hideout:
Steel: 21 cm (0.7 feet) Rock: 70-100 cm (2-3 ft) Concrete: 66 cm (2.2 ft) Wood: 2.6 m (8.8 ft) Soil: 1 m (3.3 ft) Ice: 2 m (6.6 ft) Snow: 6 m (20-22 ft)

Incorrect.
Couple of points, even after the cold war ended the Russian missiles still retained their targeting information - the Russians saw no need to alter it. Swansea/Port Talbot was/is on the targeting "A-list" - Two ports and one being a deep water port. As Clasey said, get pissed and vvank away.
