i didnt want to post this in the celebration of yesterday.
at half time under the stadium one of ki's fans was pointed at and swans fans sang this song..
"he shoots he scores
he eats your labradors
ki sung yueng, ki sung yueng"
this was all in good nature by swans fans but we CAN NOT keep singing this song.
it is very insulting for ki. he doesn't eat dogs.
it would be like singing a black person eats fried chicken.
it's not a clever song.. i don't think people singing it is racist but the song is.
i just think the people singing it are maybe more ignorant of the hurt it could cause.

Some hideous responses, as much as the op is an idiot, it is insulting. When I worked for the Police, if a person reported an incident and stated that it was racist then it had to be initially dealt as such.

And taken out of context, (which it obviously will be in this modern, vibrant and multi-cultural society) could be considered discriminatory. So if you want to support Ki during his time in Swansea, then at least get to know a little about the club and the people at least. We are the most ardent supporters of our club and team, and we're proud of them. Why would we intentionally abuse Ki?!? He can turn around and call us Welsh sheepshaggers, and no one will bat an eyelid!
And unless you've spoken to Ki, how would you know he was insulted? Which raises the possibility it is you just trying to stir the pot as you've done before!
