Well I used to go to places like the Wag club and the Camden Palace but it has now become clear to me I should have jumped on the train Swansea instead.
Ah, The Wag! Best. Club. Ever.
Painfully hip with great music - thankfully pretty much tosser-free on soul and funk nights. On the site of the legendary Flamingo club, now a f*cking Irish "theme" pub.

I was in London by then.
Too much Brylceem for my liking anyway...
Ha! You could probably have smelt the sickly sweetness from a couple of hundred yards away, at least.
Great swathes of boys in cinched-back Levi selvedge jeans and biker boots, lovely looking girls in heels and pencil skirts... Fark! Given the option I'd have said stick and not aged another day.
and all this, of course, didn't hurt.... don't know of a spare time machine, do you?
An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.

It used to be Strikeout before that, but I was only young and my only memory of it was as a restaurant. Only reason I remember it was because you could have coke with an ice cream in. As a shy ten year-old this really blew my mind!
Did Strikeout used to be a club too?
Not sure but I think Strikeout was just a restaurant. It was called Mother's before Quids and I saw CZJ there a few times. Dont think it's where she met Mike though!
