Now that’s what we need going into the playoffs,we’re was that the last few games but give credit we’re credit’s due.
Now let’s keep it going and who knows we might just pull it of and get back where we belong.COYR.

I could never work out what formation we were playing Was it a back 3 or4 or5 and at times I don't think the players knew either Gnoto got around the back of JS with ease who may have been better playing as a traditional left back without having the freedom to roam
Downes once again showed how important he is to the team and to the possession game and KWP was a star once again
Not many clear cut chances but two got taken after good build up play
That's a double over Leeds a double over WBA and unbeaten by Norwich certainly looking at the stats we have a good chance of winning the play offs

That was a good win despite Stephens lucky not to concede a pen. Downes showed how much we miss him when he is out with a very good game.

A well deserved win. Picked our strongest side which was the right thing to do. Close game but we were in some degree of control throughout. Right to get Manning off before he got sent off. Stephen's badly at fault for their goal and fortunate not to concede a penalty. Downes was great and McCarthy did well in goal. Nothing really on the game but certainly raises the optimism a bit.

So we got our answer - yes it was right to play our best team (ish). And actually I was pleased that Martin should Captain Jack to fill in so that we had some defensive solidity if needed. Actually he didn't play particularly well but thankfully everyone else did. Stand out players Downes, KWP, A Armstrong and Smallbone. Boy was it great to see us with a bit of grit that continued throughout the game. Even Macca looked solid. Nevertheless there were a few dicey moment with tippy tappy in and around our box. If we just cut that nonsense out, we'd clearly be a much more solid team. I simply can't understand why Martin persists with the useless and dangerous rubbish. Once we do play direct balls forward and knock it out to the wings we look a pretty decent threat. And the right wing's clearly A Armstrong's best position. Che didn't get much of a look in but did play a great ball across the box for A Armstrong to knock in the first goal (unfortunately Che had to go off with an injury - hope he's OK for the next match).
A superb 60 yard cross field ball from Bednarek to KWP on the right wing and good control and cutting-in from him and an accurate cross to the post for Smallbone to sweep home for the second.
Once Che went off we weren't much of a threat up front despite Kamaldene and Stewart coming on. Nevertheless one of the real pleasures of this afternoon was keeping Leeds under control, and at bay, for the second half.

Before kick off this looked the right team to me. Five in defence if necessary and I cant remember when we last played without an out and out winger - cue a much more solid looking set up that (again for the first time in ages) didn't make it easy for the opponent to score. When our passing is on song as it was today it was a pleasure to watch and very difficult for the opponent to get much traction in the game. My own best guess is that we are a much better team without an out and out winger though one may be a good option later in games. For 'one off' play off games at least that must be the call. I believe RM got this selection(and subs) spot on and hopefully it will see us to good effect for what's to come.
Particular shout out to Joe Aribo.

It should have been us promoted today and not Ipswich. The day we let them beat us cost us dearly. If we had held on and won that game we would probably not lost another game!!!! With a better manager we would have done a lot better.
