Eunan O'Kane: Leeds United midfielder joins League One club on loan Friday, 31st Aug 2018 16:06 by @LucasMonk_ Leeds United have today announced that Eunan O'Kane has joined Luton Town on loan until January 10. The Republic of Ireland international joined United from Bournemouth in August 2016, and featured regularly for the club under Garry Monk, Thomas Christiansen and Paul Heckingbottom before being deemed surplus to requirements by Marcelo Bielsa along with a tranche of last season's squad. O'Kane was reputedly the subject of keen interest from Charlton Athletic, managed by former Leeds midfielder Lee Bowyer, but he has instead plumped, perhaps reluctantly, for a move to Kenilworth Road to link up with fellow League One side Luton Town. The departure of O'Kane rounds off a mass exodus of fringe players from Elland Road this summer, with Caleb Ekuban, Vurnon Anita and Hadi Sacko also amongst those to leave on loan.
