Former Leeds United winger joins National League outfit Friday, 9th Feb 2018 17:20 by @LucasMonk_ Former Leeds United Ryan Hall has today signed for non-league outfit Welling United. Dulwich-born Hall, who played for the Whites between 2012 and 2013, has been signed by the Wings as a direct replacement for the departing Harley Willard, who has elected to join an unnamed club on trial. Welling currently sit in 10th position in the National League South table having amassed 41 points and they only trail 7th-placed Braintree - who occupy the last of the division's play-off places - by five points, in addition to having two games in hand. Hall moves to Park View Road from Merstham of the Bostik League, having also previously played for Crystal Palace, Rotherham United and Sheffield United, who Leeds face tomorrow in a momentous match that could define their season. The 30-year-old made a mere eight league appearances for Leeds without scoring after initially joining the club on loan from Southend United in October 2012, before leaving Elland Road in November 2013 following a waspish rant on Twitter in which he complained about his lack of playing time whilst on loan at Sheffield United.
