Just a day after signing for Scottish League One side Airdrieonians on loan until the end of the season, 20 year-old striker Jack McKay went straight into the starting line-up as his third loan club slumped to an unexpected 2-1 home defeat at the hands of 7th placed Albion Rovers in the Monklands derby. McKay failed to get on the scoresheet, with on-loan Hamilton Academical striker Steven Boyd playing the role of match winner for Rovers; the 19 year-old netting a decisive brace.
