I wish I could say I was surprised. I think we all were expecting a kicking. We certainly got that. Chelsea are far from the finished article but they are a heck of a lot better than us.

Just caught up with MOD. Spurs are certainly not in form and had a man sent off as well as gifting us a goal. We still got nothing from the game and did not appear likely to score. No need to panic but we have not improved as much as I hoped we might have this season.

That was a most worrying performance. Credit to Bournemouth though. We might now treat them with a bit more respect rather than pretend they don't exist. VAR kept us in the game! Can't say that I ever thought we would score even in the second half. Bournemouth always looking the more threatening. They are not mistake free but they do have a defence that will throw everything at last ditch defending and we do not. A bit of a shock if I am honest.

Agree with halftime orange. What might have been with 11 men. Utd are not getting any better. Not sure about Adams but early days. He keeps up with game and hopefully sharpen up. Sadly I am not sure what Armstrong brings. Had high hopes for him but he struggles to keep up and loses the ball. Long still useful.Boufal so skillful at times. I would normally try and defend JWP but too slow and sideways today. A point is good with 10 men.

A strong line up for a game that did not matter. Thank goodness it did not matter. Imagine if relegation had been between us and Cardiff. Cardiff at Man U and Saints with a home game against Huddersfield.... We are not very good as our position in the table clearly reflects.

We are staying up, we are staying up! We are making very hard work of it and may just need something from the Huddersfield game to survive. That was Newcastle we lost too. They are not very good either.

Great result. Wolves clearly have some gifted players but a great Saints performance. JWP was not great but delivered some excellent dead balls. Romeu made a difference when he came on. Stability. Ings a worry. So happy for Long. Back 3 looking OK. Not so sure about our full backs who had a busy afternoon. Gunn is improving and has some authority. Still grinning...

Oh dear, that was very hard to take. A very ordinary and thoroughly dislikeable Liverpool team average at best in the first half go through to thump us in the end. It would have been easier to watch if we had not score first....

Appalling referee. Despite that and with the help of Kane's many misses in the first half we won. Such a difference in the second half when we could attack freely. A very special win. Have not felt this good at St Marys in a long time. Manager doing an amazing job with our very limited squad. Cardiff who, unlike Swansea last season, do not seem to be throwing in the towel would have found this difficult to take after their win against West Ham. Just one relegation position to worry about. We are very much in touch with Burnley, Brighton and Palace. If we continue like this we will survive.

It is always difficult to lose when playing that lot and playing so well. We do need points but at least our goal difference continues to look better than Burnley and Cardiff. We are a much better side than this time last year so I hope we can get the results to survive and put pressure on the teams around us. Spurs next...

Just what was needed against a poor Fulham side that will not catch Saints. Yoshi looked good at the back. Prefer Gunn in goal too. Bertrand finding his form. Much to be cheerful about although not out of the woods yet.

I am not sure when we cant beat are relegation rivals whether anybody really expected anything from a visit to Arsenal. However it does seem so disappointing how we gift the opposition goals. Keeping the goals down to 2 could be crucial in staying up. I am really struggling to find any enthusiasm at the moment. Only good news of the day was Puel been given the boot by Leicester. Saints made the right decision in hindsight as has been proved with Leicester's strange form.

Yes we are in the relegation zone and we deserve to be. So many poor performances. It is worthwhile reading the press and listening to the pundits sometimes. The bottom line is that If you play a striker of very limited ability who never scores why would you expect him to score. The honeymoon is over Ralph. You have your work cut out keeping the team we saw today up. Anyone really surprised?

Why do we always think we are going to beat the teams around us? We are where we are for a reason. We are not good enough to progress any further than the teams around us. We keep thinking we are going to get 3 points here and 3 points there. We are not a lot better than the teams around us. We are in a relegation scrap. When Stevens (who is quite frankly hopeless as seen at the Palace game) was talked up by the manager some of us wondered whether it meant we were not going to sign a new centre back. We have not signed a new centre back. We are going to have to rely on spirit to be sure of staying up.

Looked a bit like a relegation scrap to me. Palace are no push over and Saints did well to get a point with too many Saints players below there best. We really do need a central defender. A frustrated crowd did not help either.

Derby had some really good youngsters playing along with some experienced players. They looked good at times and seemed to want the win more. We still look so fragile that we are better off putting all our energy into staying up.
