It's going to be at least 1M coming our way even if it is on the low end.
Looks like Plymouth are already on the case for his replacement with a 750k bid in for Jatta at Notts County. Being proactive, something I wish our lot would be.
A decent winger and striker would make a huge difference.
Even throw in an attack minded central midfielder.
All the above was something we needed in the summer, we were still chasing a winger right up to the windows death and Vipotnik hasn't worked at all. Not having enough competition and knowing that you will make the match day squad week in week out isn't really going to give these players a push. They need to know that they are being pushed.
Reading now, although not down the same path as the headline points to, Callum Robinson has now come out and said that Riza was right in what he done in coming onto the pitch and having a go at Franco!!! Not saying Franco didn't leave one on him but being out of your technical area and going onto the pitch seems to be ok.
I really am at a loss how people's minds are working these days.
And let's not forget that Coleman has stated the club want to keep away from the loan system. So in doing this it would just highlight another contradiction that would be stacking up quick for the guy.
I don't see how that is an example of excusing blame from Williams! I have used teams without managers as an example.
Let's not use the Williams situation as a blame for the board not signing permanent players and giving them loans as something to hide behind. Regardless who is in place as manager, the powers at be should have a system in place to be signing players as other clubs clearly have.
It has nothing to do with who the manager is or in some cases even if a manager is in place as I have pointed out. It's poor organisation.
I just pictured a toddler stamping his feet shouting
"I AM RIGHT" 🤣🤣🤣
You just know what you are dealing with when someone proclaims they are right! We had years of it with Dr P who was as wrong as you could be with regards of the previous ownership and is now hiding in the outback sharing a toilet with lord Lucan.
Clubs still sign players permanently even under those circumstances, only need to look at Plymouth and even Wycombe yesterday who signed a player and have no managers in place.
I think the loan scenario would just be a short term fix and would highlight even further the lack of planning and forward thinking in place at the club.
Andy Fisher Nelson Abbey Nathan Broome And now Abdullai
Above were players we having paying wages for since the start of the season. We were still chasing a player or 2 to come in up until the close of the summer window. There is certainly scope to be bringing in players at this point with the wages freed up and manoeuvre we had even before these boys moved on.
It's a balancing act but one that the club are making look harder than it needs to be.
Thankfully I think strengthening a tired and thin squad is going to take priority. Things can change quickly but a concern with some players carrying knocks and fatigue with some
