On way home

Even though pool lost felt they looked better than Fulham who looked poor. If Cameron (I think) who was put clear twice early on, one on one with their keeper had scored instead of hitting the post and making a wrong choice the second then the rest of the afternoon would have been easy. Second half seemed to largely pass me by apart from the fellow in the pink/red dress with the blonde wig who ran on and put the ball in the back of the Fulham net. Missed Madines effort in stoppage time as I was on my way out. A bit of protest chanting, Fulham fans made their contribution. North and South stands sparsely populated. Nice sunny day, women always look better I think.(Not the bloke who ran on).

Gazette - Blackpool sky high profits
at 09:41 9 Mar 2015

To me it seems like someone putting too much focus on saving as much money as they can rather than relaxing, spending a bit more and maybe getting more enjoyment out of the football.
The parachute payment seems to be the only item protecting the club from a fall in income which is a result of the mostly dire football that has been served up. All done to death elsewhere I know.

Match today
at 18:43 7 Mar 2015

When even the official site describes the game as dreadful I guess it must have been bad.
The match stats did not look good, unlike the midweek match. Next up, Bournemouth. Oh well.
Looking for a positive will Burton away be a new ground for most?

When was the last time three home grown players featured in a league match for pool. Hope they get another chance soon and start getting their names on the scoresheet.

Not at game. Only seeing text updates. Where is Donervon Daniels? Wonder why Clark picked O Dea ahead of Daniels. From the score can only assume Clark got his selection and tactics wrong. I know Bournemouth put 8 past Birmingham at St Andrews but this to put it mildly is a bit disappointing. Will be interesting, if hard, to read any post match write ups from anyone at the ground who managed to stay till the end.

Eagles saying he wants to stay. I think he is still improving, getting his fitness and match sharpness back. Could make a big contribution to pool staying up.

Seems to be thinning out. Jackson out injured and Francis Coquelin recalled by Arsenal.

With seven loan players on the books and only five allowed in the match day squad Clark will have a tough choice to make. If Lundstram is one of the two left out wonder who the other will be. Lewis, Daniels, Kennedy and Foley if fit are almost certain to start, I would think. Would like to see how O Keefe compares to Perkins but then Murphy is playing well.
