Been on the Runners World forum site they give a good run down on the expectations on getting in,i may give it another go next week in applying. Thought of doing one abroad Iceland for one for some reason or the one in France where they give you a glass of wine when you pass different vineyards lol..... |

How did most of you get in,its been a pain trying to get in as a runner on your own,had a load of reject magazines over the years, and plenty of virgin jackets as well. The only way to get in now is to run for a charity and then you need to collect £500+ in most cases, thats harder to do than running in the thing!! |

I work in the university they do a degree/masters course to be a osteopath, its a four year course, one of the top five in the UK..They sort out back issues etc... They have a clinic here where anyone can come in and get treatment,so if you are looking for help, phone them. [Post edited 2 Sep 2016 16:09]

You get three hours free at Morrisons, 3pm's k/o...arrive after 2.10,walk the 10 minutes to the ground, get back to the car just before five. Will work at evening games too, Morrisons shuts at 10pm,Sunday k/offs at 4 may not work perhaps. |

How many different angles can you get when they find a new group to be with, the prison, the crazy sherriff and his community, the cannibles and the hospital......with this new lot,are they too good to be true, are they being filmed on in these houses on the quiet?? |

New Balance have bought out Warrior who were making kits for Liverpool,so next season Liverpool will have NB as their kit suppliers. I was wearing NB ten years ago ,going a bit retro now le coq sportif or diadora gold/ bjorn borg are the bollocks. |

..the flip side is that if life goes tits up and you seperate, the wife gets the house and the kid 80% of the time, you get a 10k legal bill, but can't afford to pay it,because your on a low wage, you can't afford a new place so a bedsit is the only thing going in a shitty area or god forbid move back in with parents. You won't get to see your child so much because you need to increase your hours/salary to pay the maintenance With earning a large salary gives you a bit of a safety net,you be able to safe a bit more for any unexpected emergencies, able to invest a bit as well but on a low wage you won't be able to do it,most of it will go on bills,no nice holidays anymore and the reason you did it was to see your children more but what you forget their is another person(the wife) who may agree with your decision but over time will start to nag and start to pick arguments when the bills start coming in and get to be honest a pain in the arse. If you live within your means fair enough and everyone is happy, good, but having money does help a great deal when life turns wrong way round. |

...feck sake not talking about an NEC size arena, but a sporting arena,Swans be using it for their academy etc but can be used for the community on other times. Where would you like to play football from November till March on a windswept/snowy/freezing astro turf pitch with rain pissing down or on an a dry 3g football pitch indoors. Anything that shows its 2015 not the 1990's must be a plus. |

Place the car park down in the corner by the roundabout and have link road straight onto the road, with the indoor arena, the things you can do is endless and can be used seven days a week, from holding football tournaments, tennis, baskteball, gymnastics to car boot sales, dog shows(!!!)wedding fayers. I would say hold pop concerts but i think that needs more thinking with regard to how many people to hold, sound and wear and tear thats involved. You could also build an hotel though a travelodge or a premier inn would get a foothold there. |

Perhaps its not to build a new staduim that is required but buy the land opposite where the industrial units are, build a multi storey car park,to take all the extra cars etc when they expand, build a an indoor arena for two football pitches and other sports that are lacking indoor facities, turn the area into sports village as such and have a link up with both universities in the city. I seems legacy is the name which is a feeling you get off the board nowadays. |

If you are going for the music, print off the listings off the website,Clashfinder, gives you a time table on all the groups playing every day, once you get your bearings you can work out where the stages are because you be walking miles every day in getting to them. Take wellies even if its been sunny here for the last two weeks,if it rains only for a few hours it be like a bog, rememeber over 150,000 people will be there. Buy a cheap £9 phone in tescos, the battery will last you far longer than all the smart phones, there will be recharging places but you will have to que hours to do so. Take wet wipes, load of socks, creams, for blisters and the sun. New thing this year, they want people not to drink from plastic bottles so you be able to buy a reuseable water bottle, and then get the water from taps dotted around the festival. Visit Shangri la,but you'll have to que again even if its 1am in the morning, but it be an eye opener ,last year saw chase and status underneath a giant metal spider spouting flames at 3 in the morning,,i say about 20,000+ people wear there. Glasto,Its another world once you get there but it be hard work its not a holiday but its a great experience. One rumour, Prince is suppose to turn up somewhere, and put a Swans flag up if you are going to see the Manics. Enjoy....and book tuesday off as well!!! [Post edited 24 Jun 2014 14:36]

Was caught here 7.45 am on a dry sunny sunday morning with only a few cars about, was going to do the cardiff marathon,so was running a bit late, doing about 56mph,had a letter about 6/7 weeks later. Crazy you can get a ticket on a motorway doing 56 where the speed limit is 70,they give you an option of doing a speed awareness session where you still pay the fine but no points is given,if its your first time. I think they book a meeting room over the national swimming pool to do the session. End of the day its a money making scheme, You should get a ticket if you were doing 80 + on a motorway and the roads are rammed with cars but on a sunday morning with nothing around is just robbery. |
