I agree with you but my 'bar' is high and I expect more consistency. Next season will be interesting, lets hope we are not having similar conversations.

Play like he did last night and he will be getting less criticism.......not sure what we will get from game to game.

Re Bennie......I agree, I have looked at it and agree I am being harsh on Bennie.

Re Morgan....the jury is out, done well when he came into the team but has dropped like a stone with his performances. Difficult for him becuase he is looking forward mostly but his passing has been poor, he has been slow and not picked up players enough. Not writing him off but I am still not sure.

I believe, most strongly, that we have a good set of players, good enough for top half maybe better. We have been killed by injuries and lack a forward really. And before you start, that has been the case for 2 seasons at least.

Just checked the Madsen pass, it was slightly behind Paal, whether Paal went too early or Madsen was too late passing is the question.....not much in the Dembele pass and Madsen pass really.

He must of been better than I thought if that is your opinion!!!

I saw him do that but that is the game now, they all do it sadly.

PS - Not much on the extra 17 minutes the ref played......

I think MC will reward the players who played well at Oxford with a start.......hopefully near to the same team.

I remember that Madsen could have played that pass, when was it - I want to look at it.

Morgan, the great hope we got for nowt!!! I recall the first couple of games, I do not want to remember his games after the very early performances - they were very average indeed. Many posters overracted, as usual. These boys can play that is why they have a pro contract but most don't get more that 25 starts. We will see with Morgan, but I like his forward thinking but not many other parts of his game. Not good to compare Madsen & Morgan!!

Dykes is poor, just not good enough. Scotland are poor, just not good enough. He is a good fit for them. I/m looking forward to seeing him next season at the R's....should be good.

Yep, Paal & Colback are my favourites, both excellent footballers, both left footers (like me - ha ha)......but I like a lot of the players actually and think we would be much higher in the division if we did not have so many injuries. At Oxford I thought there were 6,7,8 players who did very well, no issues at all with Norf's decision re Field - he played well supporting the front runner.

Is Nourry that bad?
at 13:38 11 Apr 2025

Lets get my views/opinions right.....I have zero insight.

I do not believe that this was a 100% Nourry signing. It was an 'agreed' decision reached by several people including the Manager & Nourry. I do not give 'two hoots', from a playing viewpoint what we paid for him, I put 99% of that down to Nourry, not MC.

Madsen has not played well as most have seen. He has not been selected by MC because he has/is not playing well - that is how it works, Managers jobs, players bonuses depend on players playing well. It's not mates Sunday League football!!!

I do not know if there is a 'player in there somewhere', if there is then I have not seen much of it.

Do I think that he deserves the 'bad' that posters give him, no not yet, he may need time to get adjusted. Not all players run about like Sam Field, some are more controlled and not that type of player and I would suggest Madsen is one of those.

At Oxford I think he deserves much credit, showed good skills, worked hard but still posters do not want to recognise that. He was part of a good team performance.

Nobody is perfect......what more do you want him to do with what he has at his side?? He has done very well since he arrived, remember the mess he as left with - we now have a good team but injuries have killed us all.

I agree, It is strange how it has been with subs but you need to know why he is taking so long....and too long it is.

Drop a line to him and suggest to him that he needs to gets his subs on sooner and tell him how to do it or how you would do it.

If a player is not playing well, and Madsen hasn't been, whether Nourry or MC signed him then he will 'keep the bench warm. Simples really.

Ha ha ha Norf, replace them off a computer.

Experience & knowledge is vital and yet another reason why MC picks Cook & Colback when he can.

I would suggest it will be down to 'cash' & if the player wants to stay here.....they will know what QPR can afford to pay them. No issues with either of their performances.

Yea, another poster who doesn't see how important Colback is to the Team - sad.....the big 4 (ha ha ha)....not surprising you fail to see when you had 'blind' opinions like you did with our failed CFs, Dykes, who keeps the Birmingham bench warm or is injured in a lower league. How many goals has he scored this season???

Basically, the back 4 defended very well including Paal who won some very important headers and got forward very well. Field played well along with several players out there on Wednesday.

The Dembele pass was simple indeed for a professional (the space to pass the ball was bigger than a 'barn door'), the skill was the finish by Yang - not the pass. As for Madsen, you are another one who has a 'dig' at Madsen when he played an important part especially in the first 20 minutes but all of the first half.

As for the win, just look at the overall performance by many players out there and not just a couple of them as you are suggesting.

Poor post..

Hunter, TBH i just don't know.

I do not believe, and I know many say that he is, that he is DofF and selects who comes to the Club. He may give the final 'yes' but as far as deciding that 'we are getting him' and not agreeing the signing with the Manager just cannot work. The Manager must want the player otherwise the player doesn't get a game. I would expect the DofF to be on the training pitch 3 or 4 times a week, not sure Nourry does that but I do not know. He wasn't there when I went there to watch them training.

I don't know if he is good or bad for us Hunter, not sure he gets enough praise though. I have a list of questions to ask, if I ever get to see him. Yes, I have heard a few stories, etc so it does worry me.

Good chat......I totally agree.

As Norf says, we won it in midfield with those three. I thought the two wide players were 'worthy' too.

He is 'big' for us......its all down to the size of the contract that he wants. His fitness, when fit, is not an issue on the pitch, he gets around very well - he is a fit lad.

Yea, its all Nourry's fault, nothing to do with the players & management.

So much 'rubbish' on this thread by posters who know nothing basically.

Benny may score, if he plays against Bristol, but he was our worse player at Oxford and out of his depth. Hopefully he would have learned a lot from his experience.
