A stat i'd like to see is average time it takes the ball from our box to reach there box and vice versa for all our games this season, I'm sure it would be stark differences
If we had players as fast a DJ then our full backs wouldnt have to be out of position as much. A terrific performance against a top side and we more than held our own for large parts of the game. Just like a fortnight ago its fine margins thats all.
Was there too and thought exactly the same, but watching those clips you can see how in general opposition defences have improved. I know they were lower league teams we were playing then but these days we would have been closed down long before we'd got a shot away, maybe thats the biggest change in the game in the last 20 yrs.
A tiny tiny tiny part of me wishes we stay out of the Prem for the next ten years just to really F**k those Yanks up but I prob aint got that long left
I was in the Fernhurst but didnt see you, when i got to the ground i was sat directly behind ( 7 rows back ) from the guy who does the Swans Away Days Vlog, not going to Burnley alas not sure if i can even get to see the game.
