| Forum Reply | are women stronger than men... at 23:26 25 Dec 2024
Women are amazing. In my experience, they are the sensible ones. They recognise the importance of family unity, the home life and everything else that keeps men grounded. Theres some duffers out there for sure , but in the main, i believe women are the backbone of a decent society. Having said that , I've just tried to explain the offside rule to my wife and 22 year old daughter, using a box of celebrations and the only QPR players they know, Sam Field, Jamie Mackie and Clint Hill. They still don't understand it, and apparently i wasn't explaining it properly. My bad. |

When i clicked on this thread the first two posts were Brians "Fair play to him.Happy Christmas everyone!" and Paulhoop2's "What a bell end." I read through Nourrys statement through the haze of wine, cheese and Drambuie and i have to agree with Robith's "unhinged" opinion. There's some positive things here, some of it sounds really honest/genuine ,and i think its a positive step forward, but the tone of it is really weird coming from some twenty something guy that's only been involved with QPR for a year or so. Maybe I'm over analysing it. Lets see what happens in January. I'm not convinced the analytics have got this team currently getting good results, or its more to do with good old fashion managing and coaching. I dont think the club knows either. |

The problem is a lot further down the line I think. All of us on here are over the age of 40 ( mostly) so we use this forum like a social space, as we would a pub. That's how we relate this to. 16 years don't have any reference for that. Online stuff is just wierd these days. Kids are growing up in this flipping crazy void. Snapchat, Only fans, Tic Tok .. There's an evil presence online. That's where government should be starting, not cycling or football forums. There should be an age restriction to go online, and certain sites/apps should be banned. I've got 3 good kids, but some of the biggest issues I've had to sort out is online. Sexting, online bullying, etc. [Post edited 19 Dec 6:32]

Celars goals were both technically better. Kolli diving header was superb though, and his 2nd he kept his composure well. Not sure Armstrong would have done the same there. How many times have we seen a QPR striker flunk their lines in that situation? Four good goals. |

Its all about the sauce. Anyone can cook chicken. Sprinkle that medium/hot/very hot/garlic & Herbs sauce on it.. and voila . Got yourselves a Nandos night in.. :) |

My wife is the house keeper to one of the guys who started Nando's, weirdly enough. South African. Ive done some work for him at his house. Lovely guy, but tight as. Very tricky to deal with, as you can imagine. They now own loads of those high street restaurants. This is just a guess on my part , but their bottled sauces will obviously be making them a tidy profit so i wonder if they've taken their eye off their Nandos restaurants ? The one in Shepherds Bush in particular is ropey. The toilets always seems flooded with piss. |
