No. I dont want the club to spend any more money that it already is, so he stays whatever. Make him sweat and earn it. If we do go down, he knows he'll never get another premier job. Which Chairman would want him after failing with this level of support? If we stay up we can afford this nonsense for another year. If not, I doubt he has it in him to manage in the championship and will probably resign, thus costing us nothing. Additionally, several of the high earners will leave also, a partial benefit of having spent so much money this summer is that the players bought will still be attractive to other clubs. We dont have to worry about fulfilling the wages of e.g Granero, Cesar etc in the championship because they will leave. Basically, I think we must have a financial outlook as though we are preparing for the championship, whilst crossing fingers that it all works out. |

The animals will tell you whats really going on, unlike us they are not insulated from the environment and have to respond if it changes. Over the last 30 years, from personal experience, and from records going back a century, everything that can walk, crawl, fly, hop or swim, is moving North, and North for a reason, its getting hotter. That fact is a done deal, why it might be happening, maybe there's a small amount of debate to be had. Climate change has always happened and is perfectly normal, it's the rate that concerns me, and puts me firmly in the anthropogenic camp. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]
