Last game, probably 2 mins of Sunderland. Off to bed! |

Barton was class. Good range of passing, interceptions, tackles and vastly improved set pieces. Barton, Fer & Mutch looks like a solid midfield. |

Agreed. Great result, and great performance all round. But I'm confused as to what our long term plan is. Feels like signings have been built for 3-5-2, but we reverted to 4-4-2 today. |

Of course, it's a matchday saturday - not like there'll be thousands of people trying to get to Westfield or Loftus Road. TFL.... grrrr.. (Thanks - saved me a journey there - looks like I'm driving today). |

Long long long time lurker here (from the old Rivals days). I scan pretty much all the QPR boards/blogs/twitter accounts. I want to read about our shared passion for QPR (and cheese). Today I came really hoping to read other people's opinions about Vargas & sunday's game. The occasional bit of moderation might not be popular but I think it does make the whole place better (more on topic, less offensive). |

Their fans were badly behaved. One ripped a seat and threw it into QPR fans sitting below them in the lower school end. |

Thought Zamora did ok today. Won his fair share in the air, and linked up with Austin well. |
| Forum Reply | Rob Green at 19:07 17 Aug 2013
I thought he was decent. Got a lot of stick from the away fans & dealt with it well. And a clean sheet - can't ask for much more.. |

Think he's injured.. not even making the bench for Forest.. |
| Forum Thread | ex-R's - Rowly at 11:11 17 Aug 2013
Always like to keep an eye on ex-R's, especially the ones I was sad to see leave (Blackstock, Cook, Rowlands etc.. adding Mackie to the list). Anyone know what happened to Rowly? He played 33 games for Leyton Orient last season (according to wikipedia) but has now dropped down 2 divisions to Aldershot town in the conference.. [Post edited 17 Aug 2013 11:11]

Looking back at previous squads - I remember starting seasons with Zesh Rehman & Danny Cullip in defence & Stefan Moore up front. Even then I was ridiculously optimistic because a new season brings fresh start from 3pm on match day. Sure - much has changed, but they club's moved forward. We have better infrastructure, owners that can hold a reasonable conversation and seem to listen to the fans (on tickets prices etc). We're in a much better place now that 10 years ago. I have faith that we'll be even better in 10 years. And we just spent 2 years in the premier league!! We lost a lot of games but we were in the Prem for 2 years. After years of playing Southend, Colchester etc I got 2 years of watching Liverpool, Man U etc. Seeing us beat Liverpool & Chelscum. Despite all the heartache, I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Pre season hasn't been great. But it's a new season. Anything can happen from 3pm on matchday. All starts then. |

I genuinely hope so. None of the haters/problems/negativity can temper my enthusiasm for a new season. |

41 goals in 82 games for Burnley at Championship level. Be happy with that. |
| Forum Reply | Remy at 10:13 21 Jul 2013
Not sure - in spite of how much other managers might rate him, what board, CEO, Chairman or Financial chief is going to sign off on spending millions on an asset that could go to prison and be worthless in a few months? Whilst they might be able to negotiate with Remy ("if you go to prison your wages drop to zero) to protect themselves, there's no way that they could negotiate that with QPR. |

Agreed we have to move forward. But not sure the club can move forward if we keep players (like Green) on massive wages whist we're in the Championship.. |
| Forum Thread | Lee Camp? at 05:01 8 Jun 2013
Released by Norwich. Decent keeper, and surely much cheaper than Green. Worth a shot to me (excuse the pun) |
| Forum Reply | Liverpool at 12:20 12 Feb 2013
Liverpool are just like us - they can't beat any of the teams above them either. |
| Forum Reply | Zamora from the start at 19:22 10 Feb 2013
It's easier for him to play second half. For example - let's say he is at 70% fitness: - If the starts the first half, he's playing against 100% fit players who are raring to go - If he starts the second half, he's playing against players who've already put in 45 mins (about 4 miles of running) and therefore a bit tired. |
